Description

K&N has the same system available for the 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty, and the 2005 Ford F350 Harley Davidson Super Duty 6.8 Liter V10. Other vehicles this intake fits are the 2006 and 2005 Ford F250 Super duty; and the 2005 Ford F-250 Harley Davidson Super Duty 6.8 Liter V10.

With the addition of K&N Engineering’s new Air Intake System, Ford Super Duty owners can realize a 16+ horsepower gain. K&N’s Research and Development Department tested a 2005 Ford F250 6.8 liter V10 on our in-house dynamometer. Results showed a 16.21 horsepower gain @ 4450 RPM.

K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your pickup’s engine to use a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more power and torque when you need it.

This air intake system uses a conical shaped chrome top high-flow air filter and powder coated aluminum heat shield in place of the vehicle’s stock air box. The result is an air filter that captures harmful particles, provides more surface area, flows more air, and increases service life. This K&N air filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions. Improving the air path between the filter and the motor is the rotationally-molded high density polyethylene tube. It offers the most flexibility in design and outstanding horsepower numbers.
