K&N Engineering 57-3058 for 2007 Yukon, Denali, Sierra, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, Chevy Silverado, Avalanche and Cadillac Escalade
K&N Engineering has developed a performance air intake system that is street legal in 50 states for these vehicles. See the complete applications list below. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 17.54 horsepower gain at 4917 rpm.
The original factory air box and original filter are restrictive in this series of SUVs. The design of the K&N intake tube and the K&N replacement air filter with radius adaptor are some of the reasons why K&N was able to get so much additional power. The stock mass air sensor was also repositioned to help with the horsepower gains. The round tapered chrome top K&N air filter fits into the engine compartment using factory holes and mounting points to let cool fresh air into the engine.
The also comes with a removable lid that goes over the top of the heat shield. This is designed to keep out any heavy debris. However, with or without the lid the horsepower increase is essentially the same.
It takes 90 minutes or less to install this kit using simple hand tools. The also comes with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty
