Description
2007-20010 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado (2500 & 3500) Trucks Gain 19 HP with K&N Air Intake. The GMC Sierra 3500 is a heavy-duty pickup truck. It is almost a twin to the Chevrolet Silverado, a 1- ton workhorse that includes a stiff suspension, rugged frame and a very powerful engine. K&N’s 63-3066 is now the 57-3066 air intake system. K&N dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 19.67 @ 2900 RPM. See the complete list of vehicles for this K&N air intake system below. The diesel trucks that use this K&N air intake are working trucks. The factory intake tube and factory air filter are restrictive. K&N gained the additional horsepower by removing the factory inlet tube and factory air box and replacing it with the bigger and smoother K&N air intake system. The new air intake system pulls air through a washable K&N cone shaped air filter which increases airflow and filtering capacity. The powder coated steel heat shield isolates and protects the K&N air filter from engine heat. The result is virtually unrestricted cooler outside air entering the engine for an immediate power gain. It takes less than 90 minutes to install most K&N air intake systems with common tools. K&N air intakes also come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
