The XL Performance Series Exhauast System is MagnaFlow's mid-level diesel performance exhaust system. The XL Series exhaust is constructed of the same high quality materials as MagnaFlow's premium "Performance" exhaust. Exhaust systems are avaialable in both Downpipe (DP) Back and Turbo Back systems with either a single rear exit or dual rear exhaust tips. MagnaFlow offers both 4" and 5" exhaust systems to meet the needs of virtually any truck enthusiast. The XL Performance exhaust is constructed of only the highest quality 100% stainless steel mandrel bent tubing from front to back. Mandrel bends ensure unrestricted flow of heat and gases through the exhaust system to help maintain lower EGT's. The MagnaFlow XL Performance exhaust comes complete with all exhaust tubing, a satin finished 100% stainless steel, straight through performance muffler, stainless steel band clamps, and fully polished, single wall stainless steel tips. MagnaFlow knows 100% stainless steel construction yields an exhaust system that is extremeley durable and resistent to corrosion. - Unleash Power: Magnaflow XL Performance Series Exhausts are a larger, free flowing exhausts allowing engines to produce more horsepower and torque than restrictive stock exhausts.
- Lower EGT's: The XL Performance Series Exhaust was specially designed for diesel exhausts. A larger bore exhaust coupled with a straight through stainless steel muffler ensures engine EGT's remain safe even in high horsepower and heavy towing applications.
- Stainless Steel: Magnaflow exhausts are constructed of 100% high quality stainless steel. Everything; including the exhaust tubing, muffler, tips and clamps are stainless steel to prevent rust and oxidation.

Question: Will I get better gas mileage with MagnaFlow Performance Exhausts?
Answer: YES, a better performing engine uses fuel more efficiently, if driving conditions and tendencies are similar. However, it is not a guarantee. Our mufflers were designed as performance mufflers. MagnaFlow's diesel exhaust for trucks will see the biggest gains due to our systems' dropping EGT's over 150 degrees.
Question: How much horsepower can I expect to gain?
Answer: It's different for every car, but typically expected gains are in the average range of 10%.
Replacing the muffler/exhaust with a MagnaFlow will help your engine increase power by being able to expel exhaust gases quicker. This creates less workload for the engine, makes it run more efficient, and results in better power.
Question: Are MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust systems legal?
Answer: YES, all of our Cat-Back Exhaust Systems comply with most state and federal laws with the exception of the Magnapacks. (Please note, local laws may vary. Our products are designed and tested to meet legal sound level limits; however, when used in conjunction with other products (such as air intake systems or exhaust headers), the overall combined effect might cause particular vehicles to exceed the allowable limits.

Also, the aluminized steel has only a protective coating that, if scratched off, may rust. Both mufflers have identical internal construction and materials and both offer you a lifetime warranty and will give you that Straight-through Wide Open Performance with no restrictions. No restrictions equals better flow, and better flow equals more horsepower.

- 4" and 5" Sizes: Exhausts are available in 4" or 5" mandrel bent tubing.
- Turbo Back or Downpipe Back: MagnaFlow XL Performance Exhausts are available in either downpipe back or turbo back. All 2008 model vehicle exhausts are particulate filter back applications.
