Ratchet could be better. Works about as well as a cheap tie down ratchet. Other than that item works well and does keep my tool box and other items at the back of my box rather than sliding all over the bed. Reasonable quality for the cost.

Works well to keep cargo from shifting forward or backward. Fits snug. Easily removes when not in use.
