Curt Ball Mount Features
	Evergloss Powder Coated Finish Ball mounts feature the EverGloss powder coat finish. Finishing curt products to a high-gloss black or color finish involves an advanced in-house powder coat process in which the powder coating is baked on to the prepared surface. Curt manufacturing adheres to a high standard in materials and application. Curt applies the optimum thickness of powder-coat film to all their finished products to ensure resistance to rusting and corrosion or abrasion.
	Ball Mount Styles Style Type #1 Ball mount: This style of ball mount is needed when the trailer and vehicle are equally level. Style Type #2 Ball mount: This style of ball mount is needed when your trailer and vehicle are NOT equally level.
	What Drop Do I Need? How do I determine what size drop or rise I need for my ball mount? To determine the size drop or rise for your style type #2 ball mount: (style type #1 is only for equal level vehicle and trailer) First level your trailer and measure from the ground up to the top ID. of receiver tube opening. Second, measure your vehicle from the ground up to the bottom of the trailer coupler. Third take the difference from both measurements and this will determine the size of drop or rise you need.

The ball mount is placed inside the hitch opening which is mounted to the vehicle. Be sure to check your ball mount before towing to make sure a hitch pin is placed through the hole of the ball mount. The hitch pin secures the ball mount inside the tube of the receiver hitch when towing.

CURT Manufacturing Incorporated warrants, to the original purchaser, its products to be free from defect workmanship under normal use and service, ordinary wear and tear excepted for as long as product is owned by the original purchaser.

Limitations of the Warranty
CURT Manufacturing Incorporated's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated shall not be liable for the loss of or use of vehicles, cost of removal and /or installation, loss of time, inconvenience, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as telephone, lodging, gasoline, towing, or any incidental or consequential damages. CURT Manufacturing Incorporated will examine the returned product. If the defect is covered under the warranty, CURT Manufacturing will repair the item or replace it at that time. Alterations or misuse of the items will not be covered under the warranty.   Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.
