Stainless Steel: Magnaflow mufflers are constructed of a heavy gauge stainless steel body, end caps, and one piece core deliver long life protection.
Fiber Fill Packing: MagnaFlow mufflers are packed with high tempurature acoustical suppression materaial for maximum resonance and sound absorbtion.
Stainless Mesh: Stainless steel mesh is used on all performance mufflers to provide durability under high temperatures. The stainless steel mesh material also provides additionals sound absorbtion with no blow out.
Wide Open Design: All MagnaFlow mufflers are a straight through design with no baffles. The straight through, one piece core offers unrestricted flow and dramatically reduces backpressure and heat.
Stainless Core: A large diameter, perforated stainless steel core eliminates the flow restrictions of louvered styled cores giving Magnaflow mufflers a performance advantage over competitor's designs.
Lap Joints: All joints on Magnaflow mufflers are overlapped 1/2" and fully welded to offer leak free quality. All welded, overlapped joints avoid distortion and cracking.
Reversible: All MagnaFlow mufflers are reversible to allow a custom fit.

Answer: MagnaFlow mufflers are universal and can be installed on virtually any car using basic mechanical knowledge. Answer: This depends on many factors.

Do you need an offset muffler?
This is where your inlet/outlet pipes are located in relation to the muffler.
Do you want a stainless steel or aluminized muffler?
The main difference between the two is the outer shell of the mufflers. Stainless steel mufflers have a polished stainless steel shell and are 100% stainless construction. Stainless steel is better looking and will never rust. Nothing looks better or lasts longer than stainless steel. The aluminized mufflers have stainless internals and necks but have an aluminized outer shell. Also, the aluminized steel has only a protective coating that, if scratched off, may rust. Both mufflers have identical internal construction and materials and both offer you a lifetime warranty and will give you that Straight-through Wide Open Performance with no restrictions. No restrictions equals better flow, and better flow equals more horsepower.

Answer: A smaller muffler is going to give you a much louder sound than you would normally get with a larger muffler. The larger or longer the muffler, the less sound you will get. The smaller or shorter the muffler, the more sound you will get.

Satin Finish: Satin Finish Mufflers are 100% stainless steel construction with a satin look and finish. These Magnaflow mufflers offer high quality, stainless steel protection with an aluminized steel finish and price.
Mirror Finish: Magnalfow Mufflers are available in 100% stainless steel construction that have been fully polished to give a mirror finish. These premium quality mufflers are ideal for those who desire a show quality look.
Body Length: All measurements given are muffler body lengths. Inlet/Outlet tubes are each 3" long, adding a total of 6" to the overall lenght of the muffler.
Mirror Finish RACE Mufflers: The RACE mufflers are 100% fully polished stainless steel mufflers that are intended for offroad competition use only. These Magnaflow mufflers are designed to meet db level requirements of racing venues, but may not be considered street legal in all areas.
3 Chamber: The 3 chamber design mufflers feature three individual chambers. They use a perforated core and are constructed of 100% stainless steel materials. 3 chamber mufflers do not have baffles and may be slightly louder than the wide open design mufflers.
Street Series: Street Series mufflers are fully polished, mirror finished muffles with already installed tips. These show quality mufflers offer a smooth, deep tone and were designed for the sport compact market. Street Series "RACE" mufflers feature a larger diameter internal core for increased flow and a more agressive tone. These RACE mufflers are recommended for turbo, nitrous, and wild cam applications.

The manufacturer warrants that all Magnaflow Performance products are free from defects. MagnaFlow Mufflers are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the muffler is not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed.
