T-Max Winches are known for their high quality and low price, making for a superior value. Designed to survive years of abuse in the Australian outback, T-Max Winches are built tough and durable. Featuring 3 stage planetary gearing that is far more durable than the pressed gears found in other value conscious winches. The Low gear ratio allows for increased control and safety which increases the life-span of the motor. T-Max winches rated 9,000lbs and above feature a massive 6.6HP HI-output series wound motor, couple that with the low gear ratio and you provide for extra resistance to overheating, wear and tear. T-Max Outback Series Winches feature wireless remote controls, stainless steel clutch and hardware and Safety Alert Lights, for more effective winching.

  • Complete Package: Outback Series Electric Recovery Winches feature both a wired (12' lead) and wireless remote, enabling safe effective winching in any environment.
  • Safety Alert Light: T-Max Outback Series Winches feature lights indicating load (light becomes dimmer the heavier the load) and winch operation.
  • Heavy Duty Construction: Stainless Steel construction on the clutch and hardware ensure a longer life span for your winch.
  • Machined, Planetary Gears: T-Max 3-stage planetary gears are efficient and durable, they hold up to brutality that winching requires. Machined gears are standard on all winches rated at or above 6500 lbs. Other brands have pressed gears that are not as tough.
  • Low Gear Ratio: T-Max winches are intentionally geared lower to increase control and safety. The geared-down T-Max features a longer motor life plus boasts quick line-speeds under load.
  • 6.6HP Series Wound Motor: T-max features hi-output, series wound motors for serious endurance and reliability. Winches rated at or above 9000lb carry a 6.6hp motor! Big T-max motors coupled with low T-max gearing create excellent resistance to overheating and wear.
  • Posi-Loc, Drum Brake System: The T-Max Posi-loc drum brake automatically locks the drum to the beefy main gears at the moment winching is stopped. Compared to cone brakes, the T-Max design wears less on the motor, keeps the drum temperature lower, and is more reliable.
  • Bearing Not Bushings: The staff in the T-max is bearing-driven for smooth, cooler winching. Lass amperage draw and reduced workload on the motor are additional benefits to this T-Max exclusive feature.
