Cenex Snow Max 2 Cycle Snowmobile Engine Motor Oil

Snow Max is available in standard or SnowMax PV full synthetic two cycle engine oil. Snow Max Standard is ideal for 2 cycle snowmobile, boats with outboard engines, outdoor power equipment and motorcycles. Snow Max PV Full Synthetic is ideal for high performance air-cooled or liquid cooled two cycle engines in snowmobiles, outboard boat engines and motorcycles. Snow Max Standard is an advanced formulation two stroke engine lubricant specially formulated to reduce smoke and enhance cold flow properties in order to maximize performance for oil injected snowmobile applications. Snow Max is formulated by blending high quality base oils with a premium, balanced additive system and a solvent diluent to provide an optimum blend for a specific application. The base oils used are high viscosity index, premium stocks that are capable of reducing scuffing and wear, and will resist deposit formation. The additive system incorporated into the blend contains effective detergents to maintain a clean engine and reduce ring belt deposits. The diluent increases the capability of the oil to mix with gasoline and to flow at the arctic temperatures experienced by some snowmobilers, while also reducing the amount of smoke produced.
SNOW MAX PV Full Synthetic Two Cycle Engine Oil is specially formulated for the new high performance two-cycle engines with power valves as well as other snowmobile engines requiring low ash technology. This premium lubricant can be used in engines with oil injection systems or may be mixed with gasoline at the proper mix ratio as recommended by the engine manufacturer. SNOW MAX PV two-cycle engine oil may be used in high performance air-cooled or liquid cooled two cycle engines and will provide unsurpassed performance with resistance to piston scuffing and reduction of power valve deposits. High performance two-cycle power valve engines are frequently used in late model snowmobiles to increase performance without increasing engine weight. This type of two-cycle engine has a requirement for engine oil with synthetic components that will burn clean and reduce deposits in the combustion chamber and on the power valve. If the incorrect type of two cycle engine lubricant is used the power valve may become inopeative. Synthetic components also provide the lubricity required to prevent piston scuffing in high performing engines. Specially selected detergent components are incorporated for keeping the oil lubricated engine parts clean while minimizing combustion chamber deposits. The low temperature properties of this two-cycle engine oil are very good with the pour point at - 50 F. Following are the typical properties.
