Posted By: Pat J. (Santa Ana) on 03/2008 The product works exactly as expected and was a reasonably easy install. Make sure you put the junction between the wiring harness that is installed in the tailgate where you can reach it if you want to remove the tailgate...I goofed on that the first time and had to readjust to move the wire that went to the fusebox back so the junction was in the right place. Also, I heard of other people that installed it directly to the wires for the door instead of using the relay...on thinking about that I decided not to because someone might be able to open the truck by accessing those wires...but it is much more likely that I would lock myself out of the truck and be able to access this than anyone else would be aware of this wiring aspect.
A good product and well fit. I'll seriously consider other products from this manufacturer.

I had to send them back.(They paid) Then they sent me a set with almost complete mounting hardware (The braces for the back bracket weren't even close to being right)but I got them on and they look good.
