Is it a no drill application? The Front and Side pieces are held in place by the existing factory cleats and push in automotive fasteners that do not require drilling. The end gate is held in place by the existing factory bolts and/or screws and push in automotive fasteners that do need to have a quarter inch hole drilled for them. To minimize possible rust issues, a blister pack of rust inhibitor is included.
Can the system be installed in a short time? Yes, using hand tools and a drill, the installation should take a half hour or less.
Does water drain or collect under the mat? The mat has bumps on the bottom to keep the mat off of the paint and allows water to run out of the factory drain holes.
Can the Dualcomp be used with caps or tonneau covers? Yes, very easily. Most Dualcomp bedliners have slots cut into the top (out of view) to allow for most clamps. Most caps and tonneau covers can be placed over the bulkhead piece without an issue. If a better fit is desired, the lip can be cut off using a saw or utility knife. Please use appropriate safeguards when using these, and all tools.
Will the Dualcomp scratch my Paint? The system is designed to be paint "friendly". The sides are engineered to stop wind from vibrating them and chafing the paint. The end gate has a "spoiler" that diverts air from over the cab over the top of the mat.
Do I have to be concerned about static charges building up around fuel cans? The safest way to fill a fuel can is off of the truck. However, the floor of the Dualcomp acts as a ground and will not carry a static charge. This greatly reduces the possibility of a spark.
Will the bedliner fade or chalk with exposure to the sun, or time? No, the sun's rays will not turn the Dualcomp sides chalky. The polyethylene contains UV resistant chemicals to ensure that your liner stays black without the need of additional color refreshing treatments. The rubber mat also has a high carbon black content that prevents fading.
Is the floor a skid resistant surface? Yes, the rubber floor provides a skid resistant surface that "old school" drop in liners or spray on liners cannot match. With Dualcomp, the rubber floor provides a much softer surface that protects cargo better.
Will the Dualcomp make my truck quieter? Yes, the heavy rubber floor acts as a sound-deadening blanket to reduce road and stone noise. Dualliner bedliners offer an easy, at home no drill installation. The installation instructions manual is clear cut and easy to read. For additional information, please see the installation below. You have chosen the best way to protect your truck and cargo.
DualLiner warrants the DualLiner bedliner against defects in material and
workmanship for the life of the bedliner. Warranty is transferable to new owner of
truck or bedliner. Failures due to improper installation are not covered. DualLiner
reserves all rights and privileges with regard to warranty determination. Please
contact DualLiner at 800-992-1949 for any warranty questions.
Limited liability: The foregoing remedy of component replacement is at the
manufacturer’s discretion and is the buyer’s sole remedy. This warranty is in lieu
of any other warranty, expressed or implied. It includes replacement of the failed
component. It does not include installation labor, nor does it cover any
consequential damages caused by loss of use of the vehicle or failure of the
component. Manufacturer’s maximum liability under this agreement shall not, in
any case, exceed the price of the product claimed to be defective. There are no
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
