The Truxedo Lo-Pro truck bed cover design features superior Velcro® brand hook and loop side seal technology. How do I care for my vinyl tonneau cover?
The vinyl fabric on your tonneau cover can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and may be hand washed or safely cleaned in the car wash of your choice. Thoroughly rinse cover to remove any soap residue. Vinyl cover can be treated with any vinyl protectants made for tonneau covers. Never clean cover with petroleum or citrus-based products, and avoid silicone based protectants. Some examples of good products to use on your vinyl cover are 303Products, Mothers brand products, and Meguiar?s products.

How do I adjust the tension on my tonneau cover?
The TruXedo® Lo Profile tonneau cover has automatic tension control. There are two spring loaded steel plungers at the front of the bed that maintain constant tension on the front header, allowing the cover to stay tight in any weather. Initially, you need to set the tension. This should be done during the warmest part of the day by closing the cover, releasing the Velcro® brand fasteners from both sides near the cab, and checking compression of the spring plungers against the front header. Roll cover open to make adjustments. Repeat until satisfactory tension is achieved
Will the TruXedo® Lo Profile work with my other truck accessories?
Yes! The unique inside mount design of the TruXedo® Lo Profile rails enables you to accessorize with most bed rails, bed liners, and rail caps
Can I lock the TruXedo® Lo Profile?
The TruXedo® Lo Profile secures automatically when latched at the rear, and can be locked when used with a locking tailgate. It can not be opened until the tailgate is unlocked and opened. There are no additional locks or sliding mechanisms needed to lock the cover.
Will the TruXedo® Lo Profile work in the winter as well as in the summer?
The tonneau cover fabric will not shrink in cold temperatures, to ?40 degrees F. Patented automatic tension control system keeps the cover tight whether it is 40 degrees below or 120 degrees above. Sliding Velcro® brand hook on the side rail works with the automatic tension control plungers to keep the cover tight ? even when it?s closed!
Will the TruXedo® Lo Profile work with a 5th wheel?
Yes! Simply roll the cover all the way open and secure with security straps at the front of the bed. This allows you full access to your 5th wheel.
Can I still open my tailgate with the TruXedo® Lo Profile on my truck?
Yes ? the TruXedo® Lo Profile does not restrict the tailgate. The rear header functions independently of the tailgate so there is nothing to remove when opening the tailgate.
Does the TruXedo® Lo Profile come in different colors?
The TruXedo® Lo Profile is available in seven popular colors including Black, Navy Blue, Forest Green, Buckskin, Burgundy, White, and Charcoal Grey. We recommend that you call customer service at 877-216-5446 to have a color sample of the fabric sent to you before ordering.
I have a bed extender. Will the TruXedo® Lo Profile work with it?
The TruXedo® Lo Profile side rails extend into the bed on each side 3". In order to use the bed extender, it must not come within 3" of the side of the bed when rotated, or it must be able to detach from the truck, be manually rotated and re-attached.
I have an older truck and I don?t see the year in the application guide. Can I still get a TruXedo® Lo Profile for my truck?
The TruXedo® Lo Profile can be custom cut for classic or antique applications. Just fill out the Box Details sheet indicating measurements, truck information, and cover information. We will then manufacture a TruXedo® Lo Profile that will fit the unique dimensions of your classic or antique truck. There is an additional charge for this, so check with the the Real Sales Associate you are purchasing from for a price quote.
have a truck with a utility track system in the bed. Can I still use a TruXedo® Lo Profile?
Many of the late-model trucks have a utility track system to make the truck bed more accessory and user-friendly. We research all of the new trucks to make sure we have the best hardware to attach the TruXedo® Lo Profile to the truck. The hardware kits for these beds include modified clamps that will work with the various utility track systems. I live in a region that is very hot. Will the TruXedo® Lo Profile fabric fade in the sun?
The fabric used in the TruXedo® Lo Profile is very high quality and has been tested in extreme conditions. It is UV-protected and will not fade in the sun.

Typically, the TruXedo® Lo Profile can be installed easily in about 15-20 minutes. It requires a 9/16" wrench to tighten the 6 clamps that attach the side rails to the inside of the truck bed and a flathead screwdriver to adjust the tension control plungers. After a simple email asking if they could match it, I got an immediate response saying they could beat it - and he did. It was ordered that day and delivered to me the next week. Very happy with customer service and the product. Would buy from them again.
The Truxedo took no time to install - we did it backwards at first, and it still took under a half hour. The leather is tough and durable and the frame is stable. Especially like the reinforcement bars in this model versus other brands so that the roll up is aligned correctly and is easier for one person to do correctly.

Took me about 30 minutes - but it could have been done more quickly as I spend time to go through the installation carefully before starting. The instructions were clear and the bedcover bolted right it with no problems. The fit was perfect and I didn't need to fiddle with anything.
On my truck it looks great and keeps out about 99% of the water if it rains.

(Coon Rapids, MN) on 03/2008 There aren't as many bed cover choices for the RidgeLine as the big boys, but nevertheless, the Realtruck website makes it easy to decide on the right one. Realtruck service and delivery are great and will definitly be the first place to look for future truck accessories. Particularly useful was being able to look at the installation instructions beforehand. One of Truxedo's competitors had you removing the side panels and drilling holes. The Truxedo had none of this - it was an extremely simple bolt on installation. If you don't already have some, you will have to go out and get some large Torx bits (T-40 & T-50), but heck, a Ridge owner will need them in the toolbox at some point anyhow. The Truxedo cover has held up real well, works nicely, and looks great.

This gasket, while thick, is flimsy & doesn't have enough surface area to properly meet the tool box & keep water out.

I use my truck for carrying a Lance camper and I have to remove the tonneau and attachment rails when I load the camper. Takes all of 2 minutes or so, and no tools are needed. Another 2 minute job to replace it when I take the camper off.
