The Snowbear TX series snowplow is a personal utility snowplow that allows you to move snow from the comfort of your vehicle's cab. You can cut through the deepest snow with the Snowbear's steel blade and tubular steel frame. Lift and drop the blade from inside your cab with a wired remote control. Mounting a plow has never been made easier than with the Snowbear's bolt-on mounting brackets that are ordered separately. The blade itself is 82" x 19" with galvanized rust-inhibiting steel. And comes with a 1-Year Limited manufacturer's warranty.

The Blade and Mounting Brackets weights 225lbs.� The Length of the blade is 82" and the Height is 19".
Lift and drop the blade with a wired remote control and manually switch the blade in 3 different positions.

	3 Manual Positions The SnowBear has a wired remote control and can be adjusted manually to 3 different plowing positions.
	Galvanized Steel Plow The blade itself is 82" x 19" with galvanized rust-inhibiting steel. And comes with a 1-Year Limited manufacturer's warranty.
	Optional Light Kit The Snowbear comes with optional accessories like Skid Shoes, Off-Road Light Kit, and a Snow Deflector. The light kit allows you to plow anytime and offers greater visibility. They mount easily onto the plow frame.

Do I Need A Four-Wheel Drive Truck? No, many SnowBear owners with two-wheel drive vehicles are very happy with their results. The plow clears the snow away before it gets to the tires. The more traction that your vehicle has, the more versatile the plow will be and the more snow it will be able to push. This is why four-wheel drive vehicles are usually preferred. SnowBear owners with two-wheel drive vehicles will find that adding weight in their vehicle helps them push through more snow. Less traction means that you need to plow more often and that you should not let the snow accumulate too much, especially if it is wet and heavy.
Can I Install The Mount Myself? The SnowBear Personal Snowplow Mounting Harness is designed to be bolted on to the frame of the vehicle. No welding or drilling is required. The installation of the mounting harness will not be difficult for a person who has a set of tools and is comfortable using them to perform mechanical repairs on vehicles and houses. Vehicle dimensions are not always consistent, particularly if it has been involved in an accident. Where possible we have used slotted holes to allow for this, however, sometimes a bit of prying or twisting will be required. If the customer is uncomfortable, we recommend that the mount be installed by the licensed or certified mechanic who normally looks after the vehicle.
How Long Does It Take to Install The Mounting Harness? Installation times vary among vehciles. A newer full-sized GM truck takes about 30 minutes. Other vehicles which need a more complicated mount may require two or three hours. We normally allow two to three hours for an inexperienced installer and a typical mount.
What If My Truck Is Not Listed On The Application Guide? First call�RealTruck Customer Service (877-216-5446) to see if the mount that you require is already in production. If it is not you may order the SnowBear Professional Mount Kit. With this you will be required to fabricate some brackets and you should be willing to drill holes in your vehicle frame. The mount is only recommended for the advanced Do-It-Yourselfer.
What If I Sell My Truck Next Year? You may still use your plow but you will need to order a new mount by calling our customer service department at 800-337-2327. If you own more than one truck, it is a good idea to order a mount for each vehicle.
Does The Plow Angle? Yes, a spring loaded release allows you to manually angle the blade. To reduce cost and complexity there are no hydraulic control systems on the plow for remote angling.How Does The Remote Control Work?The remote control is used to raise and lower the plow from within the vehicle. The 12ft. control can be temporarily mounted on your side window or permanently installed under the dash.
How much dose the plow weight? The steel blade, tubular steel frame hardware�and the mounting brackets weight a total of 225lbs.

The electrical connectors and mounts are not very obtrusive when the plow is removed. I had reservations about having to manualy turn the plow, but it is rather easy and not as anoying as I had expected. There are only 2 major complaint that I have. One is that the motor (winch) could have been a little stronger and possibly covered to remain protected from the elements. It seems slightly undersized and is already, after only one season, in need of an occasional "tap" to free the brushes. The second complaint is nit-picky, but the assembly for supporting the plow when it is not on the vehicle is not well designed. It is of less quality than the rest of the plow assembly, and even how it mounts is not well thought out. All that said, I would still definatly purchase another plow if needed from Snowbear. The price is right, and it handled even the heaviest of Wisconsin snow with ease this last season.
