But you can trim them shorter after you install the grill. Do not close your hood until you trim/cut the screws shorter after you install the grill parts. They are stainless steel screws so they are tuff to cut. I used small bolt cutters to cut them. They might punch a hole in your radiator if you don't cut them. The only problem I did have was that when I tightened them down the factory installed bed rail covers kind of collapsed in. I removed the rails and packed in hard insulation styro-foam.
