Putco Pure LED Truck Bed Cargo Area Lights

Well built lights illuminate the truck bed pretty well. They could be a little brighter, however they are a lot better than holding a flashlight and looking for the "apple that fell out of the grocery bag and rolled to the front of the truck bed". I was able to route the wires through the under side of the bed rail and through the cab frame and solder them into the wiring harness for the two "bed illuminating lamps" that are in the same fixture as the third brake light. My lights now come on when I use my "wup-wup" hand-held keyless entry clicker. The adhesive tape seems to hold well, but the red backing was EXCEPTIONALLY diffucult to remove. It took me ~1 hour to peel the back off the tape, and stick the lights up! The tape provided an easy way to "aim" the lights toward the middle of the bed (where the light is needed) while still keeping them protected by the bed rail. I would still feel comfortable getting a load of gravel or sand in the bed of the truck without damaging the lights. The LED's provide a decent amount of light (under my tarp) that doesn't strain the amp load on the fuse circuit. I would like to have brighter LED's, but I am sure that someone has already thought of that.

This product came with no instructions, diagrams, hardware, etc. The product itself is satisfactory, but without the above items, it is useless to me.
