These Rampage 3" nerf bars have a convenient flat step area that is not cut out, instead it is compressed to enhance strength and eliminate rust. These side steps feature 304 marine grade polished stainless steel that will not rust, chip, flake, or peel. Quick and easy installation is what your get with a set of Rampage nerf bars. They bolt to pre-drilled factory holes, so no drilling is required. These high-quality tube steps are available in polished stainless steel or black powder coat. Black Powder Coat Nerfs: Acid bath dipped to remove impurities and has a dual stage powder coat finish that incorporates an initial E-coat layer covered by a durable gloss black powder coat.
Polished Stainless Steel Nerfs: 304 Marine Grade Polished Stainless Steel. Hi Gloss Finish with Heavy Duty 3" x .07 wall stainless steel tubing.

Packaged instructions said use original bolts for 2007 trucks. When supplied bolts didn't seem correct on my 2011 I went online and instructions said use original bolts on 2007 and newer. Then supplied washers wouldn't fit on oem bolts but if you didn't use spacers the brackets would rub on cab mounts causing a bumping and grinding noise when driving. After taking loose again and adding large washers to lower bracket from mount they look and function properly. Will have to wait to see how well they last without rusting.
