Description

The Raptor Magnum 5" oval nerf bars feature a true oval design for a bold look. Their oversized design is the perfect compliment for today's fullsize pickup trucks. Raptor's Magnum 5" Oval nerf bars are constructed of marine grade 304 stainless steel that is fully polished to a mirrored finish.

Stainless steel endcaps are fully welded for a seamless finish and to prevent moisture from seeping inside the bar and for a totally awesome look on your pickup truck. A full 5" wide step pad gives the Raptor Magnum 5" Oval step bars a large step area with plenty of traction. To get exactly the look you want, they are available in cab length and wheel to wheel sizes.

Liked the idea of extended towards the bed of the truck. Wish they were a little further out away from the body of the truck and lower towards the street for shorter people. Installed this on a 4x4 truck. Look great and feel sturdy.

The 5" rapter step bars stick out from the truck to far and I have never seen a step bar with plastic step pads which are slippery they should be rubber and the step pads don,t line up with the door properly when exiting the truck.

I really like the bars, I just wish that the support brackets would have the bars a little higher up from the ground.

Follow the instructions and they are easy to install. Did it by myself in about 1.5 hours and I took my time.

These bars are great! Out of the box and installed in under an hour (even though we did have to drill a couple of holes for the "no-drill" installation). Installation was straight-forward, materials were marked for easy identification, and the finished product lines up and looks great. Two cons: I wanted the wheel-to-wheel version, but it is not available in this style for the crew cab longbeds: bummer. Also, I would have liked a third support bracket for the bars; Ford has mounting locations available for it. I haven't had any issues with flex, though I haven't tested it either.
Despite those two minor preferences, these bars look awesome and function as advertised; you won't be dissappointed, especially at this price!

Real Truck was great to work with, however had several issues due to mislabeled information. The 5" Step Bars were actually the second set that I received from them. Had to send back the first set because they were not designed for my year of truck, (I have a 2005 F-150 4wd supercrew, and was sent 2009-2012 Step Bars.) This was due to an error in Real Trucks Marketing Dept. labeled the model that I orginally ordered incorrectly online, this has since been fixed. Once we realized what the issue was, Nichole with Real Truck sent me a new Fed Ex shipping label to reture the first set and was able to send me these 5" Step Bars for the same price as I orginally paid. They arrived in 3 days recieved tracking number once she had the order placed. The Bars took about 1-1/2 hours to attach to the truck by myself. They seem very solid and my wife really likes them, and makes it much easier for her to get in and out of the truck. Hope they last for years to come.
Can't say enough good things about Nichole and Real Truck, I will come back to them for any future purchases just because of their customer service alone!!

Firstly, thanks to REALTRUCK.COM, I have purchased 3 items in the last couple months and the selection, price point, shipping and delivery times have been first rate. I chose these bars on several points, stainless with welded stainless end caps were high on my list. I was somewhat disappointed when they showed up with the made in china sticker on the box. However, the appearance and fit were more than acceptable. There was one classic "made in china" issue with them though, there is a welded U bolt that is used on each side to hang a support bar from a cab structure. This U bolt very easily broke at a weld during install and the subsequent need to fish real hardware in place to complete the install was quite frustrating but can be accomplished. A close review of the weld showed poor material and weld penetration. 3 out of 5 for an overall nice product but corners cut in manufacture.

Extra care was taken in the packaging to ensure no product damage. Installion very easy except for the center support bracket. A defineate must to watch the online video for installion. Otherwise these bar look and feel like the real deal. Very sturdy and will make your truck pop. Look no futher if are looking to get the most of what you paid for...

ordered the Raptor 5" Step Bars very easy, Got them very fast.
Packed very well (only one very small ding on the passenger side)
installed in 1-2hrs. needed 1 extra U-bolt and the manufator sent me two 4-day later.
very happy with the steps and service.
Will buy from RealTruck.com again.
