The lights look great with the led cab lights the hardware sucks some stainless hardware is a must go to lowes instead of using thiers

Rather than using the supplied screws to install the light bar, I used 3M double-sided tape since I don't like to drill holes in my truck. With that done, the rest of the installation was a breeze. Looks good. Lights are just the right size that do not overpower the running boards.

The product was very complete and well made. I was impressed that even the wires were already in protective wire loom. Because the product was so complete, installation was a breeze and the lights work perfectly. Not only do the lights make the truck easier to see from the side, but they illuminate the side steps at night to help getting in and out. I'm so impressed with the quality of the Recon product, that I'm planning to purchase more Recon accessories.
I've been a Real Truck customer for several years and have always been impressed with the professional staff and quality products.

These lights are extremely awesome! They sure turn heads when you're driving down the road. So far no problems! I don't expect there to be either. The hardest part was getting the lights around my running boards. The wiring was easy as pie too! Thanks!

My installation was on a 2008 Trailblazer. Ease of installation was amazing. I wanted to do something different to highlight my chrome step bar. This really out did my expectations! NO extra drilling for there are mount points already there. You see these lights on pickup trucks but not generally on SUV's. I am here to tell you they look FANTASTIC. I hope I am starting a trend and this Company and their product are all you will need. I will buy from them again.

First I would like to say that the person I spoke with on the phone was kind,friendly and very helpful. He helped me place an order and with accuracy to have it delivered in enough time for Christmas. (Actually much to my surprise within 10 hours) Which I was not expecting. I have a crew cab and these are about a foot shorter than I would like to have had. Also, the wires for the bars have a black channel guard that is about a foot to short to reach the front turn lights. As with all Recon lights, the documentation is pretty slim. I really wanted the lights to cover the raw edge of the metal under the doors where the body is welded together, but the LEDs are a little to thick to fit behind the plastic that covers the mounts for the step bar.
But, once installed and wired up, they do look good even if they are about a foot short.

I ordered on Saturday & received the shipment on Tuesday. The Recon Big Rig lights work very well. Recon supplies clips that hang the lights about 1" below the rocker panels. I opted to use 3M tape and mount them directly onto the rocker panel. To each his own on their style of mounting, but I am not a big fan of drilling holes in the truck body, all be it, these clips mount to the seam of the body. The wiring is plenty long enough, as well it is shielded with a plastic sleeve. I have found no fault with the product to date, and would recamend this product to anyone interested.

good quility. came with all neccessary hardware. the only thing that I did not like is the wire connecters. should have came with a little dielectric grease

Nice Product, but color of the leds was very disappointing. They are too red an i would not cll them amber, they do no match recons amber cab lights.

This was a Christmas present for my husband who absolutely LOVES it. He is one of those guys that doesn't like his stuff to look like everyone else so, this was really great. It was easy to install and he comments about them all the time. He car pools with some other people and they commented on them too! They thought they looked really nice. . .

I received a couple LED Running Light Bars promptly & as pictured + described. I mounted them on each side of my tahoe just above the tubed step bars; they really enhance the look when lit up & especially blinking.

was great and looked awesome until 4 of the LEDs all in a row got really dim and now it looks like theyre pretty much burnt out.. maybe just a defect.? or not grounding enough? who knows...

I purchased this item and less than two weeks after the install, LED's were burining out. Recon, although having a warantee on this item, would not honor the warantee, but with the help of RealTruck, I had a replacement set in short order and at their expense. The second set has had no problems. The units function properly but the lights could be brighter when not flashing. The units appear to be of fair quality except that the attaching screws should be stainless steel instead of plain metal (rust). Attaching clips should also be of stainless. Fit and finish of the product is poor, indicating poor quality control during manufacture. The cost of this product is too high for what is provided.
What makes this product a 2 out of 5 rating is the personnel at RealTruck, they are absolutely outstanding. I personally will never purchase another RECON product.

Very good product. Installation took approx 4 hours. Wiring took most of the time. Wired the light bar to the rear tail lights. Instruction were outdated. Had the light bar mounted for about a month with no issues. Looks great and bright. Overall satified with Recon will buy future products.
