Recon Accessories LED Tail Lights Installation
This product offers an easy, at home no drill installation. The installation manual is clear cut and easy to read. For additional information, please call us toll free at 1-866-309-1907 or 701-253-5906.
The 2007 and newer Dodge Ram trucks require additional wiring to be fully functional. A ready to install wire harness is available from your local Dodge dealer to speed up the installation. Please see the attached installation guide below
The 2008 Ford SuperDuty trucks feature a slightly smaller reverse light socket that doesn't tigten securely in the Recon lights. Users can either purchase a light socket and wiring from a 99-07 SuperDuty and install for a proper fit, or secure the 08 factory socket with Silicon. Applying a thin coating of silicon to the 08 socket will secure it in the tailight to prevent it from rattling or vibrating loose.

Needs more LED's.
Not as noticeable as I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE. But,they seem to be a well made product.
I expected they would supply the NON-LED bulb (back-up).

I purchased these the 21st of August and they are wonderful, I also purchased a White Lighting LED Tailgate Bar. The Salesman was Jason and the secretary was Bonnie and I have to tell you they were two very professional and wonderful people to deal with. I would deffinately buy from them again when I need some more things for my truck. The Recon LED Taillights look great on my 2006 Dodge (Which is a show truck)and I installed them myself they are really easy to put on, and they look great. I am very satisfied with all of my purchases from REALTRUCK and I am sure you will be to!!

The LED lights are great and I bought the whole set including the 3rd Brake-light, the Cab Light kit, and the side mirror marker lights. As I say the lights are great, however, the confusion of getting them was unbelievable.
For some reason someone at RECON had miss-labeled by hand the boxes that contained the tail lights I ordered for my 2009 F250. Someone had actually crossed out the bar code and written the wrong code that fit the 2006 and below. Being impatient I called Real Truck and asked them to send me a new pair (which I paid again for) and I would just return the others once the RMA hit.
Well that is only where it began: the new pair of tail lights that were shipped were in the exact same condition where the bar code was crossed out and the wrong number was hand written on the box! Now i had 2 pairs of tail lights worth ~$x00 dollars and none fit. Real Truck customer service was very helpful and really worked through this, but it did take RECON over 3 weeks to get the RMA out for the both pairs and then get the correct lights. This was due to confusion of the fact that I had paid for 2 pairs and they were BOTH incorrect (It took photos over email for them to see the error). RECON kept wanting me to deal direct and they would just swap them (no big deal) , but I actually had one for return and one for swap causing confusion, and a little disbelief.
All this aside, RECON was very apologetic and stood up quickly once they understood the mistake (Must have recognized the hand writing in the picture).
I would buy the lights again, and really appreciate the customer service department of RealTruck and would have gone 5 stars, but just was not completely satisfied because of the time it took me to get the actual lights IE July 9th ish order, Actual lights that fit July 28ish.

Great taillight upgrade gives a bright, clean look. Each light easily installs in a few minutes with a screwdriver, with no other mods required. Simple "plug & play" installation. I would highly recommend other Recon light products, as I have several other light mods by them.
Ordering from RealTruck accessories for the first time proved positive as well, with super fast shipping, great communication and more than reasonable pricing. I would order again and would highly recommend RealTruck.com.

Im gonna give it 3 out of 5 stars only because i had nothing but trouble with my last set of LED lights i bought but these are different so hopefully my trust will be earned with this new pair. As far as ease of ordering it was perfect. If these light do not hold up then i will rely on Realtruck to make it right.
