Description

Road Pro vehicle products include the 12 Volt Direct Wire Ceramic Vehicle Heater and Fan with swivel base. This car heater directly hook up to vehicle battery. (Does not plug into cigarette lighter socket, hard wiring is required). Has 2 speed adjustable fan. Just flip the switch from heat to cool settings. Uses a 15 amp blade fuse and included 15 feet power cord and install hardware. 180 watt, 15 amp draw. Stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Great for heating you vehicle and great for more back seat heat. Works as a car heater or a fan.

The output was not as great as expected, although better than the $20 heaters you can get at the local auto parts store. It drained the battery in my 73 Super Beetle to the point that the car stalled and wouldn't start again, even though the heater was off all night. Had to put a kill switch in, which is not supposed to be needed. I don't think I'd recommend this heater, although I haven't found one with a better output yet.

I bought this as a gift for my son's truck. Heater coil went out and the engine needs to be dropped in order to change it....NOT! He had no problem hooking it up to the truck battery through the firewall and is warm and on his way!

I think this unit will do exactly what I need a defroster in the mild florida winter. I haven't written sooner because iam trying to find a oscillating mount to make it go back and forth across both windows. If anyone knows of a 12 volt one, I would like the info.

The unit worked as stated but due to the amps draw I could not use it as I had wanted to.. No fault of the unit, just not enough available amps in the charging system on the UTV..

I put this in my 1988 plymouth because the heater core is not up to par.
It does not put out as much heat as you would think but it is constant and makes the car bearable to drive in the winter time.
you will still need to wear your jacket.
It does require a good bit of power and needs to be hooked directly to your battery with good connections in order for it to work properly.
I am only semi happy with it i thought maybe there would be more heat.
I can make it work in my situation but if you need alot of heat this is not it.

have had no problems with RealTruck.. only problems with delivery being delayed. That is because of UPS and not the fault of RealTruck.
