Electronic Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Ice Alert and Clock/Calendar

Description

12 volt vehicle inside and outside portable thermometer with ice alart and clock with calender. This clock/calendar and thermometer has a green backlight display for easy viewing at night. It also includes an alarm and flashing l.e.d to warn the driver of icy road conditions. Each unit includes a cigarette lighter plug in adaptor. The clock/calendar and thermometer includes a weather-resistant outside sensor with a 10' cable. For memory-backup a AAA Battery is included.

(Brownstown Twp, MI) on 05/2009 When I purchased the above item, I was looking for am outside temp sensor I could permanently mount on the dashboard of my RV. I was very pleased with the way things turned out. I had to make a few alterations in the wiring for convience. Even with the alterations in the wiring the accuracy of the sensor remained within 2 degrees. Again I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I ORDERED THIS ON A THURSDAY AND HAD IT THAT MONDAY AT NOON, YOU CAN'T ASK FOR ANY BETTER SERVICE THEN THAT.

(Boise, ID) on 03/2008 I do lots of driving during the long winter nights and the lit display is great. I slip-seat (my company has 7 trucks that 11 drivers share) so I'm driving a different truck all of the time. I let the temp sensor hang out the passenger door about 1/4 inch and then close the door ... quick and easy to remove when my shift is done and I turn the truck over to the next driver. One gripe. If I set the time, day, and date it does not get remembered. Every time I get out of the truck there seems to be a static electricity event as my pants slide across the driver's seat. The static electricity erases the time & date. This happens every time I get out of the truck no matter where I put the temperature sensor which makes the clock worthless. Not a big deal, all I really need is a working temperature sensor so I know the temperature and if I should expect ice on the road. This product meets my needs.
