RK-21949411 - Romik Stainless Steel Bull Bar
Posted By: Francis D. D. (Leesburg, FL) on 10/2008 I would have given 5 out of 5 stars, but for the installation of the top brackets into the bumper. You need something more sturdy. I ended up using wing nuts in place of the rubber inserts. They secure through the bumper on to the back side. The reason I did this was because after I had installed the brackets using the rubber inserts, I put some moderate downward pressure on the Bull Bar, and one of the inserts popped out. With the modification I made it is much more sturdy. Just a suggestion. I am sure your engineers can develop a good permanent solution. Putting in the wing nuts was a little difficult due to space constraints.
