Rugged Ridge rock sliders & side armor are made from heavy duty 2" steel tubing that is given a durable dual stage textured black powdercoat finish. No matter what your choice, you'll be getting top of the line protection for your Wrangler's vulnerable sheet metal.
If you go with side armor, you'll be able to both prevent damage to your rocker panels and get a slip resistant entry step. On the newer JK models you will be able to mount these on the body mounts but on older YJ or TJ models, some drilling is required. The rock sliders are designed to hug your Jeep's body for maximum ground clearance while still providing protection against large outcroppings.
