Lightweight enough so that your car become a snow plow, but heavy duty enough to handle heavy snow conditions; a Car Snowplow is the perfect solution for the do-it-yourselfer. Snow Plows for Cars are built light enough so that you can handle lowering, raising and angling the blade on your own. No need for excessive mounting and drilling kits, these plows are installed and loaded onto your vehicle using a simple 2” receiver hitch.

Car Snow Plows are simple to handle and can be installed and manipulated by one person. Because it uses a receiver hitch you can attach the blade to the front end of your vehicle or the rear. This is perfect for people who would prefer to have the ability to utilize both ends or would like to install a receive hitch for other purposes as well.

These personal plows are motion activated. This means they require no manual controls from inside ‘the cab’ of the vehicle. When you move forward the blade automatically engages. When you reverse, the blade disengages or releases to ensure you don’t scrape the driveway or parking area while you are reversing. This is sometimes referred to as a floating blade. It’s a favorite for individuals just learning how to use a Snow Plow for Cars or who want to have the ability to plow without worrying about hydraulics or electronic adjustments all the time.

Snow Removal Tip: Snow tires or at the very least, all season tires are a good investment when outfitting your vehicle to handle snow. Getting a grip on the ground, which may be ice or snow covered, is paramount when pushing snow. Plowing is easy when the snow is fresh and light, but can become a monstrously slippery task if it is heavy, wet or if there is an ice sheet covering the pavement you are working with.

Check out what our customers are saying about our best selling Car Snowplow, the SnowSport 180 Utility Snow Plow.

Gary C. – Canistoda, SD
Just received the SnowSport 180 last week, and have used it 4 times on the driveway. It works as advertised. If you are plowing hard drifted snow, recommend you get the tie down strap. Without the strap, the plow tends to want to "float upward" when it hits the resistance of the hard snow. Overall I like the product, and is a good value.

Jody M. – Clifton, NJ
Real easy to build and install. Great for driveways and small lots. The only issue is bolts loosen up quickly so either use lock washers or lock tight on the bolts or check regularly.
