DescriptionThe Snowbear snow plow has a variety of parts and accessories to choose from. You can get the optional heavy duty plow skid shoes to increase your plow's performance over gravel, soft surfaces or uneven terrain. Also increase your visibility by preventing snow from spraying onto your windshield with the a snow deflector. The Off-Road light kit allows you to plow anytime with its spot lights for greater visibility. Plus replacement steel scraper blades and optional poly scraper blades are also available. Plow accessories designed to work with Snowbear BB50, BB100, BB200 and winterwolf snowplows. My order from RealTruck proceeded without any difficulty and shipping was reasonably expeditious. The SnowBear Skid Shoes product was as expected (I have replaced these shoes previously) however SnowBear really needs to offer just the replacement shoes themselves (which are the only parts that wear out). This should provide a reduced price to the customer and eliminate a lot of wasted hardware. I have a whole box of excess brackets, bolts and nuts which I will never use and it annoys me to have to pay for things I don't need. Another option would be to replace the current design with a more widely available generic shoe. I guess the good news is that the current shoes are still available.

Skids are a life saver on my blacktop drive and gravel park spots that I maintain. Bolts are continually working loose I think I'll put some thread locker on them or something?still enjoy them

The skid shoes work well on gravel. Although adjusting the height is very difficult with the nylon nut and small flats on shoes, but it becomes easier over time as the nylon wears. Overall I'm m pleased with product and service and could not imagine plowing without skid shoes.
