I followed the directions but found that the hitch bolt holes were not wide enough for my 2007 Nissan Frontier. I called customer service and they said I should try and bend the hitch brackets (1/4 inch steel) right! I finally took it to my mechanic and he bent the bracket enough to get the bolts in, it cost me $76 dollars to get it done. Customer service said they had never heard of this problem in the past, well they have now. The quality seems very good and I think the hitch will work well but not a one hour install!
the 2 dodge owners who gave bad review must not any man skills at all. a three year old with drill could put this on. hardest part fishing wire through frame. by the way i have a 2011 ram 1500. only bitch is cost way to much $$$$.
While some hardware was missing it went together really well, and the fit was as advertised.
When I installed the hitch, all the nuts were right but the two long bolts were 7/16.I have a good selection of hardware in my garage so took care of problem. If a person is not that lucky it could be a pain.
lined up and mounted just fine without
The only problem I had was fishing the bolts through the frame on the truck.
Exactly what I needed for my '04 Colorado. Fit perfect (a little challenging snaking some of the bolts) and secured in place. So far it has held the weight of the plow so it does the job.
|The Front Receiver Hitch installed easily. I just removed the front tow hooks, installed the receiver between the frame and tow hooks using the 4 existing bolts. It allows me to use the 180 personal snow plow with ease.
Perfect fit, great instructions. Top grade material, all parts and special tool furnished. Install was quick and easy.
Works great. Was easy to install and plows my driveway great!
