Description

The Softride Access Dura Hitch bike rack has the ultimate combination of features when it comes to hitch mounted bike racks. It offers an amazingly innovative design which can be used on both 2" and 1.25" receivers. Softride also equips these bike racks with the patented parallelogram design which allows full access to your cargo at a moments notice. It has a sleek aero designed base frame, and the rack lowers for easy access to the rear of your vehicle without unloading a single bicycle. Simply release the pull pin on the side of the rack to lower it for cargo access or when loading bikes.

Holding up to 4 bikes, this bike rack is unlike any other and can be lowered when fully loaded with bikes. The hydraulic lift assist is amazing and requires little effort when the rack is loaded with multiple bikes. These bike racks include a retractable cable lock for securing bikes to the rack, giving it a gentle ride (Padlock not included.)

The Softride Dura Hitch Bike Rack's anti-sway system perfectly complements the molded rack arm cradles, giving your bike the smoothest, safest ride around. Rubber straps ensure your bike remains securely on your rack when you are navigating the roads. Purchased this bike rack after looking at several competing models. My experience with RealTruck has been very satisfactory. Pricing was very fair and matched any deal on the internet. Easy to place the orders and merchandise was received on time. The Softride bike rack really does cradle bikes nicely and securely while driving. There is no damage to the paint of the bikes. The parallelogram feature is great allowing access to pick-up bed without removing or damaging bikes. The bike support arms are removable and can be stored when you are away from your vehicle. RealTruck did a good job and the rack works as described.
I had a technical question for Softride and they were quick to handle the question with a complete answer. Again, good experience. After using this rack several times since it was purchased, I would purchase it again over competing models.

Real truck and Amazon work great together. My shipment arrived before the expected date. The Softride rake is excellant and works great. Access into my Jeep Patriot with bikes on the rack could not be easier. A great product and a great shipper.

The plastic end cap on one of the arms was busted into four pieces when I took it out of the box. I'll contact RealTruck Monday morning to see if they can send me a replacement part.

This rack works great for 1 to 4 bikes without infringing on cargo space. If you have a big truck and need to haul riders and their bikes, this could be the ideal solution.
I received the unit with a broken part. RealTruck put me in touch with the manufacturer who promptly replaced the piece at no expense to me. Excellent customer service.

I haven't used it yet as the bicycle season was over when I bought it. The product's antisway brackets were received broken. Since shipping the whole product didn't seem feasible (quite heavy) I asked for a couple replacements. The Softride Vendor was happy to replace, after I did my own research to find their contact information.
