Description

The QuietRide locking hitch pin is making towing more safe and secure than ever. When you install your ball mount into your receiver you will notice that it rattles slightly. This is not safe as it creates stress on your hitch and ball mount. With the QuietRide system the "clanking" felt when towing is eliminated. With solid stainless steel construction and a salt spray tested, corrosion proof brass lock, the QuietRide Locking Hitch Pin is the highest quality towing system in the market today. A rubber cage holds a durable nut in place inside of your ball mount. A stainless steel bolt cinches the nut securely to the side of your hitch receiver taking up all of the slack in today's hitch receiver design. Included with the QuietRide Locking Hitch Pin is a durable lock cover to protect the lock from road debris.

 Pin works great and I like the lock functionality. I have not taken the ROLA carrier on a long trip to date, but all of the anti-rattle technology seemed overdone in short haul scenarios. The fit on my truck is very tight with little wiggle room between the carrier and the reciever so it may have been more product than I needed. The proce was very competitive and shipping was quick.

 The plastic nut carrier breaks. I'm on my second one. Okay if you never take the ball mouint out of the hitch receiver.

 I absolutely hated the clunk/clunk sound every time I started, hit a bump or stopped when I was towing my boat. The Anti-Rattle Locking hitch pin eliminated the problem completely! It was quick and esy to install and takes only seconds to tighten up when I put the ball mount in the receiver. Trust me and buy this. You will be thanking me later.

 I'm new to using a hitch so this is my first pin. Love it. Easy to install. Very solid pin and key/lock cyllinder. I'd like another bolt and rubber cage so I can swap the pin between mounted devices like my carrier and a ball mount.

 Used this lock this weekend to secure a hitch rack. Keeping the rubber sound dampener lined up with the holes was a little bit of a pain, and the fit was snug so I had to jiggle the rack to get the lock to snap onto the pin. This was with a hitch platform rack though, so the process might be easier with other attached devices. Once secured it worked fine though, and the materials used look to be high quality so I expect it to last.
