The Softride Access Dura Hitch Mounted 4 Bike Rack is the ultimate combination of features in a hitch mounted bike rack. With its innovative design it can be used on both 2" and 1.25" receivers . The Dura Rack offers Softride's patented parallelogram design combined with anti-sway rack arms. It has a sleek aero designed base frame, and the rack lowers for easy access to the rear of your vehicle without unloading a single bicycle. Softride's Dura Bike Rack carrier's unique design allows the bike arms to stay horizontal even when the rack is in the lowered position. Simply release the pull pin on the side of the rack to lower it for cargo access or to load up to four bikes. Unlike other brands, the Dura Bike Rack can be even be lowered when fully loaded with bikes. The rack includes Softride's QuietRide hitch locking and tightening system to ensure that the rack does not vibrate or rattle. With the included hitch lock, your Dura Rack is securely attached to your vehicle. It also includes a retractable cable lock for securing your bikes to the rack. (Padlock not included.) The Dura Bike Rack's anti-sway system perfectly compliments the over-molded cradles of the rack arms giving your bike the smoothest, safest ride around. The Access Dura is equipped with rubber straps to ensure your bike remains securely on your rack when you are navigating the roads. Standing at 36" tall, the Dura Bike Rack will easily accommodate the clearance requirements of smaller cars and SUVs. The Access Dura Rack's arms remove easily for storage or for convenience when the rack is not in use.
