It is valid from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. This warranty pertains to products defects in manufacturing, not normal wear and tear or excessive use. Manufacturers defect does not pertain to torn fabric from sharp objects.  If your tent has been damaged due to excessive use, or is older than one year, you may contact us for spare parts information.  Napier Enterprises reserves the right to refuse any warranty which it feels is not the fault of the manufacturer. In addition to that Napier will also, at its own discretion, repair or replace the tent in question.  Napier Enterprises reserves the right to refuse warranty consideration or add a surcharge for excessively dirty or messy return items.  Napier Enterprises will return to you a repaired or replacement product.
