Stampede's Chrome shields are made from impact resistant acrylic. They're then put through a wet electroplating process to get their chrome finish. This bug shield looked and felt like quality right out the box. it took less than 10-minutes to install with no tools. I could not be happier and just ordered the Stampede Window Vent Visors for our new 2013 Chevy Suburban. Gotta say, I LOVE the Chrome bug shield, also got the moonroof wind shield also in chrome... on our silver Toyota 4Runner.... and looks TOP NOTCH. Hoping they come out with chrome window vents....... love the product!

the ones that were sent were for a 2012 f150 an I have a 2013 so the installation directions were differant, but Real Truck took care of it by calling stampede to get the right directions. installation was a snap. thanks Real Truck...
