The stylish and aerodynamic design of these bug shields help push insects and other small road debris up over your cab protecting you from dings, chips and splats. Each hood shield is specifically contoured to blend seamlessly with your vehicle. Stand away mounting will keep the bug deflector away from your hood allowing for easier washing.

Molded from heavy duty acrylic materials, the hood deflector is UV resistant preventing fading, scratching and warping. Stampede buffs and rounds the edges on the bug shields eliminating sharp corners to accidentally cut yourself on. These hood guards are available in the standard smoke tinted or a clear finish. The clear finish can be sanded down and painted if you desire or just let the factory paint shine through.

 The product itself, met my expectations. The time it took to get to my house was much longer than anticipated. When I called the company to check on my product,I was very unhappy with the unprofessional service I recieved from the employees. I will never purchase from, nor recommend anyone else to purchase from realtruck.com.

 I bought this bug shield on sale for a very reasonable price. When it arrived, I found that it was missing some of the mounting hardware. I called the manufacturer and they said that they would mail the parts to me right away. I never did receive the missing parts and ultimately had to do an extensive internet search to find the oddball nylon shoulder washer that I needed. Very nice deflector but very poor customer service.

 I love my new bug shield and it was easy to install once I figured out how to mount it. The instructions were a little deceiving but once I put it on, it was well worth the minor frustration.

 It looks great once installed. However it said no drilling required. If you need it to stay on you will need to screw the self drillers into the hood. The self drillers are are in the kit. They shold state "no drilling required but if you want it to stay on then use the self drillers included to secure it!). shipping seemed to take longer than normal.

 The shield went on exactly as described in the directions. The Ford OEM grille was the hardest part of the install. It's been on for over a week now, looks great and appears to be working as I envisioned.

 I gave this to my husband for Christmas. He put it on his truck and when you drive down the highway it sounds like hail is hitting your truck. Don't know why this happens, whether it is the wind coming off the shield or what but it is not pleasant to drive with this on his truck. He has taken it off and is going to see if some rubber gromets will help. This is not an inexpensive item, and we are not satisfied at all.
