Description

Steelcraft 4" oval nerf bars are great for todays larger pickup trucks and suvs. These large oval nerf bars offer an easy no drill installation. The oval design provides a larger step area and they come complete with oversized UV protected step pads. Choose either black oval nerf bars or stainless steel. Steelcraft 4" oval nerf bars are available in both standard and premium editions. Standard edition is straight oval tube nerf bars and premium edition has rounded ends like traditional nerf bars. Easy installation approx. 1 hour. Make sure to fit the washers to the bolts as there are 3 different sizes of washers. They feel sturdy and look great. Realtruck shipped fast and they arrived in good condition. Thanks Realtruck!

Product arrived sooner than REAL anticipated. All parts were present and marked clearly and the instructions were very easy to follow. Had mine out of the box and on my 2012 RAM in about an hour. I debated buying a more expensive, better known brand but i am extremely pleased with the look and quality of the SteelCraft bars. Cant beat the price and quality you get from REALTRUCK, i will be a continued customer.

The installation was very easy. It took about one hour. The fit is perfect and the look is great. I reccommend this SteelCraft product to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and great looking Nerf Bar that anyone can install. Thank you REALTRUCK.

Bars arrived quickly and well packaged but the driver's side tube had some corrosion on one end and also 3 small dents in the step surface. Realtruck was quick to contact the vendor and a replacement arrived in a few days. However, the new replacement bar also had 1 dent in the step surface. It appears to be a design flaw when the plastic step is attached to the metal bar. They were easy to install and make getting into the truck easier. Not bad looking but I would recommend saving your money and get a higher quality bar such as the Mopar step bars. This review is solely for the bars ... RealTruck customer service is definitely 5 stars.

A very good product. Took me about an hour for the unboxing to complete install. Helpful hints:
1) Have a second person holw the far end of the running board to the vehicle while you fit the bolts in the other side. I ended up using a jack, pumped to the appropriate height
2) It is *very* easy to swap the left and right sides. Turns out, the left side DOES fit (and bolts match up) on the right side. The result is the step pads are slightly off-center from the doors.
3) When doing general assembly, be careful not to scratch the running boards when you mount the standoffs on to them.

item was in excellent shape. was shipped very fast. Was not hard to put on vehicle BUT when you go to do this remember to not tighten any bolts until the very end you must do this or it may not lign up for the end cap bolts lol found that out .works and looks great on my new dodge 1500 truck thanks guys

Very solid product. Took about 2.5 hours to put on by myself. No drilling required. Directions were very specific with photos which made it very easy to understand. Had them for over a month and very happy.

I purchased these nerf bars for my 2012 Acadia ( knowing that they were listed for up to 2011 model year ) they did fit and look excellent.. the instructions were very easy to understand,the only problem I had was the rear,small holes,had to be opened up to accomidate the bolt plate on each side,the factory has boxed these in with no other larger hole to feed the bolt plate through,like the front ones have,also they have used spray foam insulation (which can be picked out with wire)so front bolt plates can be fed through the floor rail. also the kit comes with clear plastic washers that you use to hold bolt plates in place before installing brackets ( they forgot to mention this in instructions)by pushing these over the bolt after dropping down through floor they will stop bolt from pushing back up into floor rail when brackets are put in place..
