This rack is a good temporary fix for pretty cheap or if you just want the bars to looks. The locking mechanism is cheap and the keys bend very easily. The slides do not tighten completely so you can move the bars up and down the lenght of the truck after they are installed without using the keys (so I guess the cheap locking mechanism isn't a big deal in that respect). If I didn't actually need to use the racks when I bought them I would have returned them and spent the money on a more solid unit.
