George de Mestral, a Swiss Engineer, got the idea for Velcro in 1941 when he notices burrs stuck to his dog’s fur. He examined them under a microscope and the idea stuck to him from that point on as well.

Ordering my cover was easy, and delivery was great. Took about an hour to install as it was probably one of the hottest days of the year when it arrived. Cover looks great on my 2007 RAM and is SO much easier to operate it then my previous one that I had on my 96 RAM. Just unlatch the tailgate lock and roll it up to the front of the truck, when ready to close, roll to the rear, set the latch in place and snap down, no stretching the cover and trying to push the snap in place. This cover adds value and style to my RAM.
