The rack was delivered on time. Assembly was easy except that the screws to attach post to brackets were very hard to screw in. I would say the video on assembling the rack was misleading as they showed how easy it was. I hard a very hard time with that part of assembly. Overall the rack looks great and would recommend it to my friends.

Absolutely first rate product and service. The on-line purchasing was painless and delivery was prompt and very well handled. The TracRac is of extremely high quality and fits my new 2010 Tacoma perfectly. My only hesitation in giving full marks for the product has to do with assembly. As a building contractor with thirty odd years experience I routinely study the instructions carefully before attempting assembly. As of the last few years I also go on-line and look for an assembly video, which I found on YouTube. The video was filmed showing a salesman, who attempted to show how quick and easy it was to assemble the product. It seemed that the company's priority was to get the rig together and installed within an hour, when what I care about is a mistake free and handsome installation, even if it takes me twice as long.
For some reason the company made the tapped holes in the aluminum pretty close to undersize, and coated the bolts with loc-tite. Even though the video showed starting the 3/8" x 16 cap screws by hand before tightening I had a heck of a time doing so without getting a cross thread started. Eventually I got out a 3/8" x 16 tap and chased the first half inch of every hole. The bolts started nicely and then got REAL snug, before tightening.
Also, the 2 1/2 inch hex screws furnished to hold the clamps in were too long; they rubbed against the side of the bed. A trip to the hardware store was necessary to purchase eight shorter (conventional) bolts solved the problem. Now that it is on I'm absolutely delighted with the rack.
