About True Flow Foam Filters:  True Flow Air Filters are more than 12 times thicker than the competitor's gauze or paper filters, giving foam filters superior filtration and overall airflow. Foam filters are constructed of tiny interlocking cells that distribute and trap dirt particles throughout the entire volume of the foam. This design creates superior dirt-holding capacity and higher particle filtration than gauze filters, which can only stop airborne dirt particles on the filter surface.
