I normally do not rate products or services with the highest rating available because I believe there is always room for improvement. And, while I am sure within the Realtruck.com organization you are constantly looking for ways to improve, it would not have been fair to rate you anything but 5 out of 5 stars. From order entry, to delivery, to installation instructions provided with the product, I have been very pleased. Should the need arise, I will again order from Realtruck.com and will recommend to my friends and co-workers.

Installation was a snap and went without a hitch in about 45 minutes. Watching the on line video before actual installation was a great help in understanding some on the small tricks while installing
Being a perfectionist I would have like to see the cover fit better around the back corners at the tailgate, but it's a minor aesthetic issue that 95% of people wouldn't even concern themselves with.
The cover is for my wife's truck and the ability to roll the cover back by one person on one side of the truck is the best feature of all and makes this cover very user friendly. A much better situation than the snap cover I have had before that took two people to roll up properly.
This is the second Tonneau that I have install on one of my trucks and would hesitate to install another TruXedo cover again.

The tension adjustment makes install and fit a breeze. Fits very nicely, and can be rolled up or laid out with one hand. My 4 y.o. can do it, except for the latches. Good seals, too. I am considering adding something to the rails to raise the two center bows slightly (~1/8") to assist drainage. It may sit a little funny (and not drain as well) because I have it installed atop ProRac tonneau rack rails. I think it would sit flatter by itself.

We are very happy with our purchase of the TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover and our dealings with REALTRUCK.com. There were no problems with the shipping or the price or the on-line coupon that popped up at the time of purchase via the internet. We are very satisfied in these areas.
We chose this particular tonneau cover because our short bed truck has a toolbox mounted at the forward part of the bed and a fifth wheel hitch (Reese) installed in the middle. The toolbox does not extend above the bed. There is only a small gap between the toolbox and the edges of the bed. This was not a problem or concern with this installation.
The fifth wheel hitch has a handle that does tend to ride higher than the bed. To prevent it from pushing up against the tonneau cover, we use a bungie cord to keep it pulled down when the hitch is not in use.
When we are towing our rig, we roll up the tonneau cover and strap it down. We have made several runs with the cover on and with our rig hitched up and the cover rolled up without any problems or concerns.
The only small issue that we noticed is that we should have taken more time to make sure of the alignment of the cover during the installation. It is not perfectly centered on all four edges of the bed. This can be somewhat corrected by redoing the installation, but it's not a functional issue so we're not going to worry about it any time soon. We have not seen any leaks and we've gone through some pretty heavy rainstorms so this is merely a cosmetic concern.
The installation instructions (as stated in other reviews here) are pretty stupid and useless. Lay the whole thing out on the ground (as others have recommended here) and you can see pretty quickly how it all goes together. The latches that hold the cover down did need adjustment, but once adjusted work very well.
We would recommend this cover simply because it's very nice to have that extra storage space with our full-time RV lifestyle.

the cover is not made out of strong material like the other one i purchased. it is not long enough for the bed and water leaks in it when it rains.

The cover came in undamaged and with all of the parts. The instructions were easy enough and the cover went on with no problems at all. My brother was there to help me with it and we had it on the truck in less than twenty minutes. It looks nice on the truck, and fits well. I installed it on a 2007 F-150 FX2 with the short bed. I used some weather stripping at the front of the cover next to the cab because there was a substantial gap between the cover and the bed of the truck there. I also weather stripped the tailgate. I've had the cover on three weeks and have been through several days of extreme heat and substantial rain (south Louisiana) and so far the cover has been water tight. After three weeks, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I gave it a four out of five stars because it took a week and a half for the cover to arrive at my house and because of the large gap between the front of the bed and the cover - no big problems - just couldnt give a perfect score. Cover is well worth the purchase price.

The cover was so large UPS wouldn't deliver unattended..I went to the station the same day and picked it up..Installed the next morning..Took me about 40 min..The cover is still stretching and little adjustment are necessary to keep the fabric tight..The opening and closing is quick and easy..The Velcro on the sides releases by just rolling up the cover..I need to purchase some vinyl conditioner polish to keep the top looking good and water tight..Over all an excellent product..

Installation was fairly easy. It fits perfectly and looks really good. The price was reasonable considering you have added security when you lock the tailgate and access is blocked from opening it. I like that one person can unlatch and roll it back. I have the utili-track system and sliding bed extender on my truck. This cover does not interfere with either. I like the fact that this website specifically mentioned the compatibiltiy with my trcuk and its extra accessories. This cover was bought primarily becasuse we are traveling to Florida and the cover will help keep our things dry. I would recommend this product and company for your truck needs, just make sure to get the right measures.

Love the cover. The only problem is it has a little over hang on the corners due to the 2001 F150 Super Crew having the rounded corners.
Very easy to install and a lot less than similar covers at a local dealer.

I'm a single woman, 52 years old and had this installed on my truck within minutes with no help. Fits great, looks great. This replaced an old 'zip lock' cover I had on the truck and I now LOVE having a cover on there I can actually use. 1.Good value.

Downside:
1.Velcro straps in rolled up position, I wish it buckled.

The cover is almost perfect! Even my wife can open and close it with little effort and both of us love how the cover looks on our truck.
The only complaint I have is that the nuts on the clamps needed between a metric #13 and 1/2 inch ratchet to install. I kept "shaving" the edges of the bolts when installing the cover. Hopefully I won't ever need to tighten or loosen them in the future.

This is really close to the perfect cover. VERY simple to install. It took me about 40 minutes to unbox it and have it on my truck, ready to go down the road. The cover stays down tight and in-line every time you unroll it and also when rolling it up. The cover cross-supports are incorperated into the cover, they stay with the cover, on the truck when it's rolled up, and unroll with the cover, insuring proper alignment every time. The locking latches have to be aligned perfectly when you lock the cover down, if they're not, it locks down hard. Just align it right and it works fine. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the cover latches are locked inside, locking the cover down. Perfect for me.

Ordered the tonneau cover on Friday, arrived the next Wednesday. Cover was fairly easy to install, the most trouble I had was making the clamps fit with the Ford bedliner in place (I put it on a 2001 F150 with 6'6" bed). Cover looks great and works well, easy to roll up and put back in place. I would recommend this tonneau to any truck owner looking for a inexpensive bed cover and Realtruck.com as a source for it.

The bed cover was simple to install by myself (less than 20 minutes), looks great, and the price was right. What more can you ask for? I haven't installed the tailgate seal yet, but I think that will help keep wind and dust out of the back. I also purchased the tailgate lock, and I'm waiting for that to arrive. Recently purchased a cover for a 2010 F-150 shortbed. One of the other sites said it wouldn't fit this truck. Delivery was fast and installation took about 30 minutes, but had to make several adjustments(reposition the clamps)to get it to fit perfect. So far it's been an excellent cover, rolls up easily even in the cold weather. The tailgate seal is needed I drove a few days without it and the snow came in thru the tailgate, after I installed the seal it eliminated this problem.

I didn't have any issues with the order and received within 4 days of placing order.
No problems with the product or the installation, but the directions could have been a little more clearer, but they weren't to bad.
I've had the cover on now for about 2 weeks and really like it. It's been extremly cold so all we've had is snow so I don't know if it leaks in the rain. It does leak a little around the tailgate when you go thru the car wash, but in my opinion that is understandable.

I bought this cover for my nissan nismo truck and installed it in just 20 mins. Its pretty straight forward. It has a locking device that closes the cover intact. this keeps out prying eyes over my cargo. Tested at 33F and heavy rain, and wind loading, this cover is pretty tough. Overall, happy with my purchase with no payment in 3months using bill me later

Great shipping. Arrived on Christmas eve in perfect condition. Installed it two days later on my wife's Colorado and I did it by myself in cold windy weather. The release is a little stiff but I attribute that to being a new mechanism and sub zero temps. She can now use the bed for groceries in inclemant weather rather than packing everything inside of the cab. Jason was very friendly and helpful on the phone when I placed my order.

This is my second purchase of this style of Tonneau Cover, This one is for my father-in-law, he liked my cover so much he wanted one for his truck. I just got done putting the cover on. It took way longer than I expected.
The cover is great and I love it.
It appears that from the tailgate to the back window it is a half an inch short. So, I will need to buy weather sealing trips for the tailgate since I made it flush with the front bed.
The one thing that surprised me the most was that I had to cut a small piece of the rail off with pliers in order to connect one of the rails to the main tonneau cover rail. The other side fit flawlessly, but my passenger side rail was blocking the corner from sliding into the main rail that went across the main windshield.
I'm ultimately happy with my purchase, but I'm a little surprised that I had to slightly modify one of the rails in order for it to fit into the other rail....Not to mention that the whole thing was a little short for my 2005 Dakota Quad Cab. Weather stripping will fix that problem though.
I love the cover though!

The TruXport Tonneau cover is a very nice Tonneau cover for the money! Easy install and adjust and alot more weather tight than I thought it would be, inside the bed stays dry! It looks great too!

Very happy with cover was able to install it myself in about an hour, the clamps worked great as my truck has an over the edge bedliner. My only issue would be with packaging, it arrived with the middle of the box split open, maybe they need to reinforce cardboard a little better. The cover only had a minor ding and scratch that was hidden when installed. Top looks great on the truck and boosted fuel efficiency by 2 miles to gallon.

This cover is far superior to the older one I had that had to be tucked into a rail each and every time and when it was cold, you had to put the truck in the Sun to even have a chance to reclose.

This is the 1st tonneau cover I've ever installed but it can't get much easier than this one. Took about 45 minutes from opening the box to total install. Looks great. The best feature is the locking mechanism. It has adjustable lock hooks so you can tighten the cover to get a very smooth, flat appearance. I highly recommend this cover!

Installed by myself in less than an hour. Fits great and looks great! So far as I can tell, no leaks and stays tight. Would definately recommend. Only thing I would change is the tie-downs for use when the cover is rolled up. They are sometimes hard to locate as they fall between the cab and truck box.

The cover itself is very sharp-looking and greatly functional, but I had 3 problems that I encountered. First, the Ford factory bed liner in my truck prevented the proper placement of the clamps (the center clamps are not able to be placed anywhere near the center; and the front and rear clamps cannot be optimized as they are not allowed to clamp at the furthest ends of the rail bars). Second, the additional adhesive weather stripping that is supposed to be applied at the bulkhead near the cab (to provide sealing with the cab railing) didn't stay adhered to the bulkhead, again due to the bed liner. The bed liner is a plastic material, so I believe that to be the main reason why it wouldn't stay adhered correctly. And thirdly, the weather stripping that is factory-attached on the cab-side railing (that the cover is actually connected to) came unattached from the railing itself. This is obviously a defect, and I don't know how common of an occurence this is for this cover. Another reason why this might have happened is due to the excessive heat and humidity I was experiencing at that time. And the weather might have also played a role in the additional adhesive stripping not staying adhered to the bed liner. Anyway, all these factors contributed to the bed cover not performing as well as I had hoped. Maybe if I lived in a cooler, less humid climate and didn't have a bed liner (or this particular one) then I might be completely satisfied.

We bought this cover for a road trip vacation and it could not have worked out better! Was super easy to install, easy roll up/down and we drove through 12 hours of constant thunderstorms and showers and not one item in the truck bed got damp! I would highly recommend this truck cover. It looks really nice and does a perfect job!

All in all, this is a good cover; my fuel economy went up about 1.5 mpg (when I do a lot of highway driving). I installed it on a 2005 Nissan Frontier and the cab design requires another piece of weather-stripping to be installed onto the bed's bulkhead - I've found that the adhesive for this piece didn't hold up to the Texas heat. It's still pretty weather tight though. I've had the cover about a month and it serves its purpose. The product ships directly from Truxedo in South Dakota and they left the bed rail clamps out of the box for my order. I called them about it and they sent the parts overnight at no cost to me. Dollar for dollar, I don't think you'll beat it for a vinyl roll up.

Great product. Works just like I had hoped. Buyers note - measure your bed, just because it says Double cab doesn't mean it will fit. I think they miss labeled some. The key thing is the bed length, order the correct length or you will be returning it.

Pretty much the other reviews I read were pretty accurate. The cover installed quickly and easily. I only had to back and refer to the instructions once or twice. Looks good and very functional. The cover stays tight while driving at highway speeds. Its been snowed on a couple of times and the contents of the bed stayed dry. The combination of the velcro sides with the latching mechanism in the back seems quick and easy. As well as the bows incorporated into the cover make rolling it up super easy. Over all I'm Very satisfied with it's design and functionality.

would prefer it had a clip securing method when rolled up instead of the hook and loop strap. It is hard to do at times. Also, the cover sits too high on the truck bed. Would have preffered a more flush/even level with truck bed. There was no description indicating this when purchased.

Love the simplicity of the cover, very easy to install. I had the challenge of working with a secondary fuel tank/tool box in the bed, but your product allows for some flexibility and I appreciated that. If any suggestion could be made to improve the installation it would be to include a short piece of 5/16 insulation for the front of the bed, for those of us with bed liners. Overall, I'd recommend this product to anyone with a pickup.

The only thing I see wrong with the cover is it needs more seal on the front next to cab as you can see daylight under the cover from the back. a thicker rubber seal there would be good. this cover works good with a truck that has lockable tailgate as it makes the cover lock also because you have to open the tailgate to open the cover. Nissan has this lock. This cover works well that you can roll it up easy to load supplies and it is easy to install by any one. Fred Pless

Very well made and installs in around 45 minutes with one person. None of the product information or reviews mentions that the cover is held taught by Velcro, but it does hold very tightly. I had to cut up an old mouse pad to make 4 extra weatherstrip pieces for the corners, I wonder why TruXport hasn't fixed this yet?? There's an eighth of an inch gap there. Still, the cover seems to be a decently high quality product for the price.

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! It fits his truck like a glove and he is amazed at how easily it unlatches and rolls up. He is not easy to please when it comes to his truck - he has been a mechanic for over 20 years and is very picky on the products he uses. If he is pleased - everyone will be pleased with this cover!

I just installed the cover. I have purchased several of the Extang Express rollups at over $100 more, but they did not make it for this particular older Ford. The TruXport works very well for the price. The quality and materials are not nearly as high as the Extang, but for the price it is a very nice product. The cover material seems very sturdy and installation was simple. The operation of rolling up is also very simple. I have taken it through the car wash and down the interstate and it is still attached solid and looks great.

The cover has been on my pickup about a week and I noticed that the velcro that keeps the cover tight on the sides has pulled out of the channel allowing the cover to remain loose. The velcro is insufficiently secured in the aluminum channel that fits on the sides of the pickup box.

It is hard to push the two release buttons on the tonneau cover the way the truck bed is made and the location of the release tabs. The tonneau cover is a good one, but someone should look a finding a better way or a better spot for the release tabs.

It fits like a glove, and looks great on my new 2008 GMC truck. It was easy to install, took a little longer than I thought but well worth it. I really think its a great deal for the money, and it works great in extreme temps, being from the great white north in Canada. Yes I'd recommend it to my friends and am very happy with the Tonneau Cover so far. The delivery service was fast, had it in three days.

Very nice, works great, looks great. Water did not get in when it rained or snowed. Install instructions were not the best, a clearer install instruction sheet would be better.

Gentlemen, the truxport is great keeps everything nice and dry this winter the cover held up well snow came right off and Ice but one problem the velcro is separating from the frame on both sides which I have to reglue when the weather gets better other than that it works fine. The side steps are good and the noskid mat is fine.I am very happy with your products.
