I purchased the In Channel Vent Visors for a 2012 Ford Escape. I read the instructions carefully and installed the visors. I noticed that the windows would not close completely and called Real Truck. I was told that I needed to install them with the window down just 3" and not all the way down; also that the temperature needed to be 60 degrees or above. They apologized that this was not mentioned in the instructions. Once I got the visors installed correctly, they work well and look great on the Escape.

I had these vent visors on my previous truck and they worked great and was really looking forward to putting them on my new 2012 Ford F150. BUT the new truck has bounce back front windows and no matter what I could not get them to work without the window coming back down as soon as it hit the vent visor. You can override the bounce back feature one time by doing some juggling with the window switch and I left the windows up in the hot Floridia sun thinking this would seat them in, but no luck.

RealTruck was very helpful in my return process and that was not a problem, although I was not too happy to have to pay $16 to return an item that I could not use. I think WeatherTech should have a note that these type vent visors do not work well at all if you have bounce back windows. Even the CSR I talked to at RealTruck said they were getting a lot of returns because of this problem.

These In-Channels fit perfectly in my Tacoma. I've read other reviews about them not being that great in other makes/models, but the good reviews I read on the visors in Tacomas were right on the money. Fast and easy installation. Based on all the steps in the manual, I budgeted 30 minutes to install both front windows, and they took less than 5 minutes total. Great look, great price, easy install. Thanks, RealTruck!
