Very pleased with fit, finish, utility, and low profile look. I received prompt shipping and delivery backed up by emails. Will in Virginia.
How nice it is to be able to have the window open slightly for fresh air and not have rain drip in...
Have used others but WeatherTech has always fit perfectly, installs in mere seconds, stays put and does not make noise. If WeatherTech says it fits your specific vehicle it will fit. Installs easiest if warmed a bit. Will not fall out if installed correctly. READ THE DIRECTIONS and DO IT THEIR WAY. (02 Ford Ranger)
dont know why i waited so long to purchase a set of these, they fit perfectly and really help on rainy or sunny days, now i can crack my windows when my truck is sittin in the sun and not worry about getting the inside too hot or wet
I have an 2005 F-150 supercab, I ordered what i throught would fit. It was Too lager, the company was fair and quick to replace it with what we both throught would work. It didn't fit either. Does anyone know what size will fit my truck? they were to be mounted on the inside.
The fit of these deflectors is not perfect out of the box. The front end of the deflectors is supposed to rest on the rubber moulding at the base of the side window, held in place by tension. Because it is machined flat and because it is pushed slightly outward whenever the window is rolled up, I was afraid that it could slip out completely, come off, and potentially hit someone on the road.
After initially (and unsuccessfully) trying to secure it with Silicone/RTV, I ended up machining the material out a little to a halfmoon shape with a Dremel tool and it now conforms and sits securely on the rubber moulding. It should come like this from the factory.
I ordered these window deflectors because I have had great experiences with WeatherTech products in the past. Upon receiving the product they look great and I couldn't wait to install them. When installing the front deflectors a piece of the deflector actually broke off inside the channel of the window and disappeared. I called Realtruick and they were great about replacing them quickly, however, the next set that I received had the same issue as well. I then contacted WeatherTech customer service to ensure I was installing them properly and the customer service representative was very dismissive. He asked me to email them pictures so that they could study how they broke and make developments in their future manufacturing. (Didn't help me now.) He also said that we would send me a video of how to properly install the rear deflectors, but he never sent it. Once I hung up with him I never head from WeatherTech again. Overall they do look amazing on the truck and are low profile like I like, and the broke piece doesn't affect how they stay in the window.
