The Rack Sack worked perfectly for us! We were able to put 2 big suit cases and a huge duffle bag in it. It didn't rain at all for us to be able to tell how well it does in the rain. It's such a heavy duty sack I wouldn't have been too worried. We really preferred this over the bulky and expensive hard shell cargo carriers.
