Guess I'm not as mechanically inclined as most others since it took me about a half day to install these on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma to include a trip to Lowe's to obtain conventional hex nuts to replace the hex lock nuts included in the kit.

First, the instruction sheet is poor, at best.

Second, I could not thread the included hex lock nuts on to the hex head bolts more than two or three turns with conventional hand tools before the hex lock nuts would "lock up" and not turn any farther (either forward or backward). Thus, the trip to Lowe's to get conventional hex nuts and lock washers which worked fine. Maybe the use of an impact wrench would solve this issue.

Third, instructions recommend to torque step bar bolts to 65 ft-lbs; however, it is impossible to access these bolts with a typical torque wrench once the brackets are attached to the vehicle frame as per instructions.

RealTruck service was great, at usual; however, I doubt that I'll be buying anymore Westin products anytime soon.

These are the best looking step ups I've seen on the road. I had some Weston Nurf Premium bars on my last Tundra which still look great after 5 years so I put these on my new Tundra and they look even better. I installed them in all of about 30 minutes. Could not be happier.
