Description

Westin Sure Grip Running Boards are ideal for any vehicle. Westin Sure Grip boards are made of extrude aluminum. The step area is padded with a slip resistant rubber strip for extra traction. This sure grip step is securely adhered to the running boards by a extruded channel for a lifetime fit.

Since the running boards span the entire length of the vehicle, it offers additional style and safety. Available for popular pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles in 3 finishes; chrome, black and brushed.

An optional light kit is available to easily upgrade the Westin sure step running boards into lighted running boards.

The product was great, but what really made me a Real Truck fan was the shipping. I thought the free shipping might be a little slow, and I was okay with that, but much to my surprise, the order was filled in about 5 days! I have and will continue to use Real Truck for future purchases.

The only reason I installed running boards on my new Silverado is to make it easier for my wife to get in and out. I'm glad I did. The boards look great on my truck. I was very pleased with the fact that the mounting kit required no drilling. Although I don't see why Westing has to sell the boards and then mounting kit separately, it just seems that they want to make it more expensive. Other companies boards come as a whole packabe. Buy buying from RealTruck.com I got a better price than if I bought them separately somewhere else. I have to say that I entered a promo code at the time of check out but it did not make a difference on the price, that sucks. Once again, the running boards look great, I installed them in about three hours. It would have been less time if Westin made a better instructions booklet. Boards look great, wife is happy.

Not a good experience for me- first off the 72" boards marked on the box contained 62" boards. And then it went downhill from there. Westin needs to shake up their DC staff and get it together. Secondly the instructions were a joke- they show 3 faded out pictures of the installation that no one could make out. Fortunately if you've got some native intelligence you can figure it out. Brackets and hardware were okay.

This is no reflection on RealTruck because they stepped up to the plate and their customer service is second to none. I replaced the boards with a brand that RealTruck unfortunately doesn't carry and they are made in the USA- not Taiwan like the Westins. If RealTruck carried the boards that I purchased elsewhere I would have bought them in a New York minute. RealTruck rocks!

Wow, what a welcome supprise. These were installed on a 2010 Suzuki Equator (Nissan Frontier) The Westin Sure Grip Running Boards were so easy to install it was almost funny. Fantastic quality (very, very sturdy) and the ease of instalation was so easy, my 10 y/o daughter could have done it, no joke. This is the first product I've purchased from REALTRUCK.COM and I can assure you, it won't be the last. These folks are far, far ahead of the other online accessory companys in both products and service. The "free shipping" makes a big difference too...

First, Real Truck is missing opportunities by not correcting the Westin running board kit(s). The kit is only 'fit to be installed' for the highly mechanically inclined. It does not fit my crew cab easily. The instructions are incomplete....WAY INCOMPLETE. No word about the extra bracket placement. There is no reason to shrink the instruction page down to fit on one page. You charge plenty for the boards to spend money on larger print instructions. The hardware kit you sent [for the crew cab boards] is only enough bolting for a regular cab. That would seem easy to figure out and to fix??? And of course, none of this is mentioned in the one page of instructions.
So needless to say, will you actually change anything?? Since you've heard nearly all of this in previous reveiws?
The running boards look good installed and I procured my own extra hardware, drilled extra holes, bent sheet metal tabs, tapped out metric holes under the cab doors, Leveled the back brackets with the front brackets on the crew cab, all the while thinking that Westin and Real Truck could have at least attempted to mention a little of this. Oh yeah and the installation was more like two sessions of 2 or 3 hours each. One for each side of the truck.....not counting runs to the hardware store for more hardware.
