| I had an issue with my first batch of Al's Liner Kit and the Rubber Crumb Additive. No where on the manufacturer's website or in the provided literature does it explain the proper mix ratio of this product to the liner kit. My experience was that I wanted a matte finish with the liner when I was finished, so I purchased another additive called Al's Liner Vinyl Flattener Additive. According to the manufacturer's directions I added all of the vinyl flattener and all of the rubber crumb into the liner mix. BAD IDEA! the mixture was as thick as tar. It quickly turned into a hard rubber substance in the spray gun hopper that was unable to be sprayed. I called Al's Liner and spoke with a company technician. He told me that I would have been okay putting in all of the Rubber Crumb Additive by itself (OR) all of the Vinyl Flattener Additive by itself (BUT) never mix all of both additives together with the liner or you will harden too quickly. I urged him to include that little bit of needed trivia to their literature. I solved the problem of over hardening by only adding a 1/4 of the container into my next batch, which I was able to spray, but really did not notice any significant effect from the Rubber Crumb. |

| I added this to the Al's DIY kit that I sprayed because I was hoping that the texture would help hide any imperfections of the material I was applying it too. Not only did the rubber crumb hide any imperfections but it also went through Al's Spray Gun perfectly. Follow the directions and you can't go wrong. |
