Boosting engine performance is all about airflow, and the factory manifolds on your ride aren't doing you any favors. Flowmaster Scavenger Series exhaust headers are ideal for allowing engine exhaust to move more freely, and in turn boosting horsepower and mpg.

Flowmaster meticulously designs Scavenger exhaust headers to increase engine performance. Constructed of 16 gauge, T-409 stainless steel, these headers are lighter and more durable than the factory manifolds. All headers are finished in a silver ceramic coating for excellent looks and greater durability.

There are short and long tube headers available depending on application. There are subtle differences between long tube and short tube headers, such as long tube commonly increasing high and mid-range performance, while shorty headers are more commonly associated with low end torque. More often than not, the long tube will deliver greater performance, but installation will be much more difficult because of the size. Long tube can also create ground clearance issues, so that is another factor to keep in mind. Either option will perform better than the stock manifold, that's a fact.

Factory manifolds are two things - restrictive and heavy. Why would a manufacturer use clunky, ineffective manifolds on their rides? Simple, because they're cheap and easy to mass-produce. Flowmaster Scavenger headers are two things - nonrestrictive and light. Seems pretty simple to me. Order yours today!
