Look great on the truck. Delivered on time. Took about an hour to install and instructions were easy to follow.
The steps did not have all necessary hardware for mounting. Even after mounting one side I realized that the front to back gap was not even and was unsitely on a F-150. It mite look better on another vehicle.
Running boards are awesome, very sturdy. I've already had several compliments and they allow my little girls to climb in the truck on their own.
One bad point though. I open box and pull out instructions and go through all the parts list to verify they are there. And per the list they are. So I install the brackets to the truck and go to install the boards. But I don't have any bolts for the compression fitting. They are shown in the pictures but not on list. Needless to say I got to run to the hardware store one day at lunch to buy 6 more 5/16" bolts. So plan to buy $3 bucks worth of bolts.
Also I went with grade 8 bolts, the brackets have 4 bolts holding bracket to truck and one bolt holding board to each bracket.
I bought these steps for my 2010 Ford F-150 Crew Cab. I got them because they were very unique looking. They seem to be built well and are very good looking. They installed easily, however, Iron Cross shorted me 4 bolts (quick trip to Lowes fixed the problem). I would recommend 2 persons when installing the actual steps, (1 person job to do brackets). I do not like how they mount so far under the truck. The step plates only stick out a few inches. They are not too noticable when on the truck. Since they mount so far under the truck, they almost blend in with the shadows under the truck. You do not really notice them until you get close to the truck. Iron Cross should change out the brackets to push the steps out at least an addition 2 inches. My biggest problem with these steps is that one of them seems to not be perfectly straight. No matter what I try, I can't get it level. I have moved the brackets around and switched the step to the opposite side. I even let a few of my more mechanically inclined friends give it a shot but, nothing has worked. They are clearly not level. These steps have potential, however, overall I am dissappointed with the fit and installed look.
The Iron Cross Heavy Duty Nerf Bars took the time RealTruck.Com published it would take to get shipped. I called a couple of times to check on them and Customer Service was very professional, friendly and the most important thing to me, did not have to wait for them to come on and work my request, Fast!. The Iron Cross Heavy Duty Nerf Bars came in 2 boxes which were very well packaged. Bars and hard ware were not damaged. Followed the directions on the insall and had no problems, not hard to understand. The bars fit perfect the first time and only 1 hour to install with me taking my time. Instructions say to use 2 people to hang them, it makes it a lot easier. They look great on my 2010 F150 Crew, tucked up and under out of the way and streamlined as much as they can and still be effective, only the step comes out for the foot and it is very safe, will not slip and has the Iron Cross logo on it. Does not move under weight when you put your foot on it, solid. OUTSTANDING product and CRAFTMANSHIP, and it is made in America. For the money this product is worth it to me. 5 stars from me.
good looking step, although it fits so flush to my 2010 f-150 the step is sometimes hard to hit with your foot. The biggest disappointment was the delay in shipping due to being a new product, which was contacted by email on status and ups tracking. The last thing was not enough bolts supplied to mount the steps.Overall once recieved and mounted very pleased my choice
