|They are nice. The plastic end caps are pretty chinsey and you do have to be careful assembling them as you could break the attachment points pretty easy. They hardware provided is probably the cheapest hardware you could ask for. For my RAM the mounting solution was a little cheap and silly. But they work well and look good. The directions are less than to be desired, for the middle two brackets I still dont know if they are mounted as the company suggests. I had to "guess" and "assume" my way though this portion of the mounting. I would buy from this company again but I would look real hard at all competitors options before buying.|

|These steps were the easiest units I have ever installed. They match the wheels that are on the truck. I have had several great remarks from friends and family. I have had a couple Ram owners wonder if they were actually factory units they look and match so good. The wife just loves them. Best money spent.|

|Once installed, they looked really nice. Installation didn't take too long and the included instructions were sufficient. My only issue was the vibration when riding over rougher surfaces like poor roads. I was able to eliminate that by using rubber shims between the bracket and the truck body.|
|I got a dodge ram 2009 model & got it installed. I say the step board is satisfactory to poor.
I ran into some issue into w/ the end cap .
1st the two pieces that wrapped the stainless still on each end is not quite fitted Its got a gap.
I've call the mfg. and they are aware of the issue but they can't help me
2nd the screw that comes with the package is poorly made and it's stripping the standoff plastic pem
3rd the standoff pem is not quite reinforced, the current screw they are using if torque too much it could damaged the pem
The stainless still is open underneath. Its' not enclose so all the debris can accumulate under and that's another thing I have to worry about to clean especially during winter
I'll be happy if all angle bars that comes w/ the package got installed. I end up just using 3 on each side
I could have use the extra but I believe need more work to be done under my truck w/ possible drilling
I wish they made it a little more better not only for good looks but also reliability and functionality
|It took me a few days but I got them on with no rattling at all. Coming back for a Grille Guard Any Sales?????|
|Like the Iron Cross Step Boards, look great on our 2009 Dodge Ram Truck.
Iron Cross's Instruction where not the best, The self tapping screws were a bear to get in, the four nuts that went on the plastic studs where difficult to get tight. Where they are located, you could turn them one flat at a time. However after you got one side on, the other went pretty quick. For looks, they are cool!
|The directions didn't work for me on my 09' Dodge. It tells you to place the clamp brackets on the main bracket and rotate 90 degrees. That didn't work for me, the main brackets lined up w/the welded section on the bottom side of the running board, so the clamp brackets hit these welded sections. It worked better for me to just set the board on the main brackets and slide the clamp brackets in afterwards.
Overall, I am completely satisfied so far and the boards look great & feel very sturdy.
