We're proud to say we're a step up on the competition when it comes to offering a wide selection of nerf bars, side steps, and step bars for your truck, sport utility vehicle, or crossover. RealTruck lists hundreds of reviews on 80 different product lines for you to choose from. We're known on the internet for side steps and for the fact we ship them to you at no extra cost. It's the extra boost up we like to give you when you order from us. Kind of like the extra boost you get when you use your nerfs to get in and out of your vehicle. Coincidence? No way!
The best nerf bars and side steps on the market are the kind that can get you in and out of the cab of your pickup truck, SUV, or CUV with ease and comfort. They provide a non-slip stepping surface that allows your shoe to grip something solid during normal, wet, icy, muddy, or any other combination of weather conditions.
RealTruck also believes that the best truck side step bars and nerf bars are ones that are backed by solid warranties. It’s why we only carry brands we trust. We deal with manufacturers that know what American drivers require in a solid set of nerf bar steps, and realize we want a long-term relationship in case something goes wrong. RealTruck only carries the highest quality heavy duty stainless steel tube steps available on the market.
RealTruck doesn’t just read about these nerf bars and side steps from these brands and vendors – we install them on OUR trucks and SUVs. We test them ourselves. We get in and out of our trucks in all weather conditions to see how they stand up to the test of time, as well as weather conditions. We’re not going to sell you something that doesn’t live up to our expectations.
Sizes and Features
Each and every one of us has different needs when it comes to our vehicles. We realize this, which is why we carry a wide variety of sizes, lengths and finishes. One size certainly does not fit all!
We carry both cab length and wheel-to-wheel nerf bars and step bars for your vehicle. Cab-length step bars are simply custom-made to fit the length of your cab. So if you have a crew cab, quad, king, etc., we’ll send you the appropriate match when you order. Wheel-to-wheel length tube steps are the longest set you can buy for your vehicle. They run from the back of your front wheel to the front of your back wheel. Again, they’re custom made to the year, make and model of your ride.
Side nerf bars come in two basic diameter shapes – round and oval. The original nerf bar was round and we carry them in 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch widths. Three-inch bars are traditionally called nerf bars. They give your truck a classic look and many people prefer to add these for a minimalistic stylish upgrade. They’re completely functional – even the 2 inch size!
Oval nerf bars can look considerably larger than the classic round style. These come in 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch widths. The newer and larger mega-sized steps that are 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch are often referred to as step bars. The stepping pad is more substantial and some even consider the 6 inch tube step to be more like a running board!
While round and oval side steps and nerf bars are the most abundant styles on our site, we also carry hoops steps. These are tube steps with hooped stepping areas that are dropped down. The step pads are replaced with custom imprinted diamond pattern grip areas. It’s a clean and rugged look that many of our Jeep customers are adopting.
Last, but certainly not least, when it comes to selecting what nerf bar you’re going to purchase is the finish. RealTruck offers classic chrome, traditional stainless steel, and powdercoat black. Some brands even allow you to paint to match your vehicle’s exterior color. Please check with the product description to see if this is an option.
There are many different reasons why it’s a great idea to order a set of heavy duty nerf bars from RealTruck. By boldly outlining the contours of your truck, these pickup truck side steps will improve the looks of any truck out there. They add a more rugged appearance and will ultimately beef-up your truck.
Matching any chrome or stainless steel trim with a fresh pair of nerf bar steps with the same finish really makes your vehicle stand out. On the flip side, we’ve seen upgrades with black nerf bars and matching black fender flares and mud flaps that look absolutely killer.
Now can you see why not a single one of us can agree on what our favorite pair of side steps is? We don’t get into physical altercations over the issue, but heated arguments have been had!
Nerf Bars for Every Make and Model Truck On the Road!
Why do we carry so many different styles of nerf bars? It's so we can accommodate every year, make and model truck on the road today.
Let’s ponder some issues that may arrive when your new side steps arrive at your front door. You’re going to be ready to get them on in a hurry because you know they’re going to look HOT! So let’s go.
Wait! Do you have everything you need? The answer is – yes!
Don’t worry, most of our nerf bars and side steps are no-drill installation. This means that all the parts come shipped with the bars, including the brackets and bolts. The bars are custom fit the year, make and model of your vehicle. The brackets are aligned to fit with the factory pre-drilled holes located on the undercarriage of your pickup, SUV or CUV.
So now, all you need to do is securely fasten everything on according to your nerfs individual instructions and then start cruising Broadway. Pretty sweet, wouldn’t you say?
Please note that each model is different. Some brands and models may requires additional installation time and effort depending upon the make and model of your vehicle.
