Accessories such as truck bed covers, bed liners, and certain nerf bars require knowledge of your truck bed measurements to ensure proper fitment. Follow these simple instructions to determine the length of your truck bed:

  • Place your measuring tape at the bulkhead of your truck bed.
  • Moving along your bed rail, extend the measuring tape to the inside edge of the top of your tailgate. Record the measurement in inches.
  • Divide the number of inches by 12 to determine the length of your truck bed in feet. Your bed length is the number of feet and residual inches. E.g. 5'8" (a common size for Chevrolet pickup trucks)

Follow the steps above to correctly measure your truck bed.

Keep in mind that most bed manufacturers round their bed sizes up, so just choose the option closest to your measurement. With this information, you'll be able to choose the correct accessories to fit your truck bed.
