I couldn't decide between the rails with stainless steel ends and the black nylon ends. I definitely made the right decision with the black nylon ends because my truck looks super with the black/stainless combination - very rich looking! I'm not concerned about the lower tie down strength of these because if it's a load I'm going to strap down very tightly (like my motorcycle) I'll just use the metal loops that are welded to the bed. These rails are $103 cheaper than the stainless end version and to me that's a big difference and they look superb against the burgundy color of my truck. I had already bought the Access "Vanish" rollup bed cover a few months ago and these black-ended bed rails look just perfect with the black vinyl cover. VERY highly recommended!
